Kendrick Lamar has 5 more diss tracks coming Sweet Chin Music, and I won't pass the aux, ayy How many stocks do I really have in stock? Ayy One, two, three, four, five, plus five, ayy Kendrick claims to have ten diss tracks. We’ve been exposed to five so far: “Like That” - March 22 “euphoria” - April 30 “6:16 in LA” - May 3 “meet the grahams” - May 3 “Not Like Us” - May 4
Bro we have proof drake did a cease and desists against French Montana, metro just showed paperwork where drake tried to get like that off the radio. But out of all the p*do allegations? Nothing??? No cease and desist?? No lawyers involved? Not trying to get the songs taken down?? How much more proof you need???
As an L.A native, I went out last night. When this song was played, everybody already knew the words. K-Dot in his Compton bag! The Boogeyman is outside!
Fuck the Grammys… when the Weeknd can’t win a Grammy even though he was the top selling artist last year, not even a sniff they are very selective… fun fact not even “Queen” probably the greatest male vocalist ever didn’t win a Grammy, as I said very selective
Amberlamps is a triple entendre: -an ambulance -The color of street lights which many parents tell their kids who are playing outside to come in before they turn on -Amber alerts
I might be stretching it too far but couldn't it also be a reference to the Deadlights from IT? They're amber coloured too, could be calling him a child-abducting clown
Meet the Grahams is played in A Minor and when Kendrick said “I’m about to up the score” Not Like Us is played in B Minor. It’s just genius work. Bro has a Pulitzer for a reason
The only reason I’m here is to watch if yt reactors have any palpable moments of self awareness when those bars start dropping about colonizer behavior, cuz K-Dot is talking about them to- the OG colonizers where Drake gets it from.
@@daphnedherbert for real, but that’s the record labels, not sure if it’s TDE or UMG but that is some bullshit to do that to these creators who busted their ass and no sleep during this battle
Something y’all might have missed: Lil baby is from the west side of Atlanta 21 is from the east side Qauvo is from the north side 2 chainz is from the Southside of Atlanta Kendrick is really genius!
Yes he is a genius and Drake thought he could go toe to toe. He is humbling Drake like his father should’ve humbled him. Make a God bleed and the people lose their faith. Team K Dot.
Whoever thinks Drake is winning just think his songs sound better. This is a DISS battle, not a song battle. Having the better diss track means having the better bars and insults. Kendrick is winning by a landslide.
The Gatorade comment is in reference to how Drake roofies girls. A woman in Perth posted on Tik Tok that her friend was scouted and given free tickets to see Drake by someone on his team. In the area at the concert with all the young girls invited by Drakes team they were offered something like Powerade in red cups. She told her friend not to drink it. Someone they were talking to who was sober before drinking the sports drink started to get loopy after a few sips of it.
Actually, I think he died on Euphoria, just the title shook his brain. 6:16 was the calm after the annihilation; then Meet the Grahams was him informing the family of Drake's death then paying his respects and condolences himself. Finally, 'Not Like Us' the 4th, as in the 4th of July was basically his celebration statement-- I won.
@@lordrikudouzero9119 yo.. you know what else is mad.. The more I deep it.. the more I think Kendrick's hate towards Drake is related to XXXtentacion's murder 💀💀💀
@@ZoeA43 look into Daylyt (alleged ghost writer for Drake) and has ties to Kendrick. Did an interview on VladTV dressed as DayLyts half white brother.. tells a story about his friend Aubrey G-ram saying he wants to 🔫 this kid called X. Then deepdive the death of Xxtentacion and why Drake hated him. There's some deep symbolism in Kendrick's lyrics too
Kendrick is crazy for that A MINORRRRR quintuple entendre A minor/child A minor key A miner/gold digger A minor was the key of meet the grahams A minor uses only white keys tying back to drake being a fake black diss The bar goes crazy
It's wild af to me that kendrick legit called drake a pedophile and a groomer in 3 different songs. Yet people talking about who's winning right now. Yo this ain't no beef. This is legit kendrick lamar who won a pulitzer prize award using his voice to show the world drake is a fuxking creep🤯
@@ericnowak9497 I'd actually argue Kendrick made this one out of fucking spite to the naysayers who were like "OH, YOU WANT A CLUB BANGER?! HERE'S A CLUB BANGER!"
I see why Kendrick is going so hard. He’s not just doing this for himself, he’s doing it for his fellow artists, and the people in Drake’s own camp that want to see him fall.
You’re the first person to make me realize that F.A.N was an acronym. I thought he was calling Drake a FAN, but he was also spelling out what FAN meant.
The “sweet chin music and I won’t pass the aux” line is actually also a wrestling reference. If I remember correctly Shawn Michael’s finishing move was Sweet Chin Music where he kicked his opponent in the face so Kendrick is saying he’s kicking Drake in the face and not letting anyone else have a turn lol
It’s deeper than that, he’s not just referencing Shawn Michaels finishing move. He was involved in the Montreal Screw Job in which he was supposed to give up the title to Brett Hart (a Canadian)…. Just like Michaels didn’t give Hart the title, Kendrick won’t give it to Drake.
Yeah I appreciate him breaking things down because most of these references go over my head. The comments catch everything he doesn’t get a chance to get to
No, he was *charged* with the assault and trafficking, but the girl disappeared, so the trafficking charges were dropped, and Baka pleaded guilty to the assault and got time served bc he had been in jail for ten months at that point.
7:40 he didn't say "bully the flow". He said "extort shit, Willie Defoe on 'em". In the movie "To Live and Die in LA", Willem Defoe plays a crooked fed agent who has an extortion scheme going. Haven't seen anyone catch that one *yet.*
Kendrick’s going this hard for Cole, he saw the internet shittin on him for the apology and said “gotchu Jermaine, ima flip this narrative and make you look like Nostradamus”
I’m curious how Kendrick has this much juice for drake but on like that he was basically focused on lyrical warfare, not tea spillage. I’m not sure if he always intended to destroy drake since FPS or if he decided to start dropping nukes since pushups.
A lot of people are missing how crazy “I’m the one to up the score on him” is….Meet the grahams is done in the key of “a minor” (which explains why it’s so eerie and ominous) meanwhile, “Not like us” is in the key of B….”up the score on him”…only the music conductor has access and control of the music score 😩 Kendrick is the conductor in this battle (edited to add: It’s Really Aaron on TikTok plays both songs in both keys for those that would like to hear it. 🫶🏾)
He wrote these 10 years ago. Born, ready to destroy the idea of Drake. Edit: It has come to my attention that 2009 was 15 years ago. He been ready since 2009.
Old white lady here, putting in my opinion for what it's worth. I grew up in LA county, about 5 mi from Compton. Our high schools would play each other. I saw the hip Hop rise in the 80s and 90s. Hell, Snoop went to my friend's birthday party like 20 years ago. I haven't exactly been up to date on the scene, life gets in the way, but I still listening to music. When I first heard of this going on, I was curious because I've heard that Kendrick is just an amazing Lyricist and a genius of his generation. I know about accusations but I don't know too much about the facts when it comes to Drake. Maybe it's just because I'm born and raised in southern Los Angeles county, but Kendrick is beyond winning this. Drake is finished. Even if some of the accusations aren't true, he's done. I might be biased, but I think Kendrick has authenticity and credit the Drake never has had and never will, beside the fact that Kendrick just has nuclear talent. Drake cannot win this battle. At this point, Kendrick is like a cat playing with a dying mouse. He's just batting Drake back and forth, waiting for him to stand up again so he can just knock him down. This is a prime case of f around and find out
LA black men are very wise and realists regardless of age compared to silly lyric, fake hood story rappers. Hint hint: should of NOT messed w Kendrick.... oops, now it's on😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
As a 64 years old black woman that grew up in Arkansas and Inglewood California i thank Kendrick for defending the culture and yes indeed i applaud you're knowledge of the community I'm now a fan of yours. ❤ yeah fat Albert caught a stray😅😅😅
FINALLY someone breaks it down for me to understand. Yesssss. Thank you I'm normal a rock, pop, afrobeats kinda girl BUT meet the grahams and Not like us has me hooked loving it
Yo, the only time Drake was even REMOTELY close to winning this beef was during the twenty-seven minutes between "Family Matters", and "meet the Grahams"."meet the Grahams" was for Drake, this newest track "Not Like Us" is for the naysayers. Anyone who still thinks that Drake is anywhere near "up" after this is either blind, deaf, or a diddler themselves. PERIOD.
Drakes family matters was a bad ass song. Creative bars, nice flows. Euphoria was goood too. I like both those songs but like family matters better. This song was just rehashed shit. Good song and catchy tho
@@Jumpingjackflash123 for rap battel not important chart!!!!must be try to destory opponent!!!! just want to made good music need to stay like pop star!!!! go to battel like kendrick lamar try to funny way biggest mistake of drake life!!!! kendrick real try to destory dreak character
Same. I'm on Drakes side, Kendrick could drop an instrumental and people would lose their mind. You can see the bias in both sides though.@Jumpingjackflash123
amber lamps is also how some people pronounce ambulance.. because they have amber lamps on them.. to me he was saying call the ambulance cuz he dying, followed by "Breathe" cuz thats essentially what you tell someone in shock "take a deep breath" if that was his interpretation that is 100% meniacle
@@greggodfrey6516 im referring to black ppl, since I myself am black, im speaking on experiences Ive seen living in L.A. outside of black folk over here, only others I know of was people from down south.
bro i’ve been watching live reacts to this for days, and i gotta say, you caught it ALL. other reacts been catching bits and pieces, but you quite literally caught EVERYTHING. every line, every double triple quadruple entendre, every hidden meaning, all the history bro you are ON IT.
*To the people mad at Drake being called a colonizer but not when he literally had a song and said “whipped and chained like an AMERICAN SLAVE” then you’ve missed the justification of Kendrick’s anger. As well as a lot of Black Americans called him out for that line and how he made sure to emphasize it being American slaves and not even just a slave. Yes Drake is half Black American but he’s also a Canadian born and raised Jewish biracial man too and completely steps over the line and doesn’t respect his Black side at all besides making money from it. He was raised as he stated from his own mouth in an all Jewish suburban area and we’ve seen him even have a Bar Mitzvah music video. He absolutely never would dare disrespect his Jewish side and most likely never would in any song.*
Drake also said Kendrick acts "like he's freeing the slaves" on Family Matters which implies that people who like Kendrick's music for the radical and pro black messages are slaves in Drake's eyes. I doubt Drake meant it that way, but that makes Kendrick's point more important: Drake is so far from the culture he doesn't even realize when he's implying that black people are slaves.
Finally someone who is breaking that part down!!! Thank you. I geuss we the only that has watched drake's back story. He is so contradictory his own shit it is not even funny. He is from mid up class speaking like a fresh block gang bang for the 90's kid type audience that is just punk shit. The industry says we don't give a fuck what you do but carry that shit with respect. That is what Kenny doing on him while showing him his outstanding balance about the bullshit. Ken has alway's had my respect from how he can get into different perspectives and through shit back and back with it. Not sorry, Drake fan's got it so fucked up with saying he up on Ken.
In addition Drake is misguided and ignorant to struggles black Canadians have faced and continue to face to this day. I don't respect him for not paying attention to what's happened and what's going on. Especially considering he exploits black culture.
Interestingly, Kendrick said on ‘euphoria’ that he “might do a show a day” and it didn’t make clear sense then upon its release but it makes total sense now with the context of this flurry of diss tracks from him dropping back to back, 3 days in a row now. Kendrick is a poetic menace😂
I’ve gone down a rabbit hole the last few days watching different reaction videos to this song for a proper breakdown. You are the only one that has explained everything and made it make sense. Thank you. I can finally be done with this one. Great job. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾
With bringing up 2Chainz said he lied ties back to their song no lie they had together back in the day too. Kendrick’s lyrics and meanings behind them are untouchable
That Bill Cosby catch was amazing. Nobody else I’ve seen caught that. And once you hear it, it’s impossible to not see. Great catch. That’s why you’re the best at this!
Kendrick isn’t on Drake for being half white. He’s not saying “you’re not black like us,” but that Drake benefits from black hip-hop culture as it suits to benefit him. He’s a great pretender. He takes from others to gain more popularity and notoriety. Had he been himself and not been a troll for over a decade, this wouldn’t have happened. JCole is half white too, and no one talks bad about that. Drake throws rocks and hides his hands… quick to run to his mom and call others racist. He’s delusional and tries to rally “fans” and normal people to be on his side. All this to say, I’m not a hater but as a woman in her thirties who watch Drake from Degrassi til now, I see now what I didn’t see before.
My goodness, I have watched reaction after reaction since this started and NOBODY had dissected and explained like you have!!! 🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽you are The Professor in this sht!
I thought the “amberlance” was like him calling an “Amber Alert.” I like Kendrick’s style, because he makes you critically think about what he is saying. I’m an almost 50 year old teacher and this is on my top 10 diss list.
love your breakdown. its obvious you have skin in the game the way you dissect these intricate lines so quickly. just found your channel after your bbl drizzy vid, keep killing it!!
As a certified drake fan.....I'm throwing in the towel....them last diss tracks was cool we got knocked down but we beat the 10 count...we just got knocked out the ring....
