A lot of people missed the 21 savage reference 😌, "20 of them want you as a casualty and actually 1 of them is next to you" HE also mentioned 2 chains also. "AND 2 of them is practically tied to your life style but just don't got the audacity to tell you".
@@eskimoblack He had an interview with AK, and was saying in Atlanta Drake is bigger than Future. Basically saying he isn't big in the streets. Which he wasn't dissing, but everybody was wondering why did you say that. That can be interpreted in many ways. If I was drake, that can make you side eye a person. Then think about the reference in Kendrick track.
"Back 2 back, I like that record. Imma get back to that for the record " Drake said he’s big in Japan so Kdot dropped 2 nukes. He’s straight up threatening that he knows of his Pedo accusations and claiming he watches CP. "Your WIFI ain’t protectin you - those closest to you", - “It’s time you look around on who’s around you, before you figure out that you’re not alone, Ask what Mike would do” Guess who wrote "You Are Not Alone" by Michael Jackson....... R Kelly. This all feels like he has eyes over the shoulder without even trying and knows of the shit Drake is actually into. Also, MJ died alone, paranoid, and broke in his own home. That glove is probably Drakes Maybach glove. Someone from Drakes camp prob took a picture of the glove on the desk and sent it to Kendrick. Ie, rats in the camp. Also symbolic of the one glove from Michael Jackson, but looks like the OJ glove. Pusha T's - Story of Adidon sampled Jay-Z's "The Story of O.J.", which was a sample of "Four Women" by Nina Simone. 6:16 in LA samples "What a Wonderful Thing Love Is" by Al Green. Mabon Hodges is the guitar player on the original song. Otherwise known as Teenie Hodges, the late songwriter and guitarist is Drake's uncle. 6/16 is Canadian Father’s Day, tupacs birthday, the day of the Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman’s funerals for OJ's murders. Notice there was no AM. Could also be related to Revelations 6: 16. "They called to the mountains and the rocks, 'Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!" Kendrick associates himself to the Lamb. And Prov 6:16 "There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: 17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, 18 a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, 19 a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers. A lot of the phrases he used in Euphoria were in increments of 6. Drake calls himself "the 6 God". 616 is also the true "number of the beast" ‘6:16 in LA’ was produced by Sounwave & Jack Antonoff - main producer for Taylor Swift. Ie, Taylormade. There's prob a ton here that Drake and his camp get, that we're not even privy too. This seems to be a direct message to them, not us. Man is a menace.
MJ did passed away alone in his home. He was murdered. He was not broke. That is a lie. There is no evidence that he was paranoid. So, why even state that???? Just state that you are ignorant and let it be.
This was such a great second diss from K. Dot. Now Drake has to question his circle and seems like he has nothing on Kendrick dirt wise… rap is so fun lol
he still has another one ready cuz it’s only been 3 days. If i were to guess it could be another one coming in the next 2 3 days. It also makes sense cause euphoria was meant to be 18-19 minutes long but from the looks of it he’s splitting it into multiple different disses
KDot 6:16 in LA was co-produced by Taylor Swift’s producer. Another connection and response to Drake’s “Taylor Made Freestyle”. KDot is on another level! So many layers with Kendrick.
"Before you figure out you're not alone, ask what Mike would do" a reference to MJ song (You're not alone) written by R. Kelly. Drake comparing himself to MJ and like MJ, he has other people writing for him.
He didn’t get robbed at New Ho King, he got robbed in Little Italy, 7 minutes away from New Ho King. Drake sides with Sizzlac’s opps in Toronto, the crips. New Ho King is the crips hang out area.
Some foo on Scru mentioned that the Mercedes Maybach glove is a photo of Drake’s PERSONAL glove! It was allegedly captured from the inside and given to Kendrick. Not sure it’s true but if so, that shit savage and will make Drake even more paranoid! I’m here for it. 🍿
You forgot to mention at the end, "What would Mike do?", Kendrick is hinting for Drake to fire his Team. Just like how Mike fired his team after his hit song "Beat it".
And sadly and diabolically a 23 year-old black guy became head of Michael Jackson’s security team right before he died. A snake in MJ’s camp for sure just like Drake’s camp (as many have warned him).
No one will prolly read this, and my comment will prolly come off like a dramatic english/lit essay haha but.... The most interesting to me about this song is Kendrick's sampling Al Green's "What a Wonderful Thing Love is." The original track is about the beauty and power of love, which is what fundamentally K-dot argues that Drake is missing. Using the sample feeds into the mature/healed perspective Kendrick is approaching this with. He thinks this beef is meaningless because he's is motivated by love, not proving something to an insecure person. He's at peace with himself and thinks that Drake escalating the situation beyond a friendly competition is immature. The really interesting thing about the sample is that the guitarist on the song is Teenie Hodges, aka Drake's uncle. The track on its face feels like a lecture from a father. The fact that his uncle is on the track, is a masterful way of driving home the feeling that the song isn't a diss, it's a conversation that Drake should have received from a concerned and heartfelt male/father figure, but never received. Kendrick genuinly seems to wish that Drake would do the work and become a better man, but he'll surgically bat him into the ground if he has to. Overall the track is "diss" to the same extent that J. Cole's "False Idols" was a diss to Lil Pump - an immature person will interpret genuine criticism from a place of wishing better for them defensively.
It honestly seems like Drake's whole beef with Kendrick is just that he feels snubbed by him. His ego can't handle someone at the top not respecting him. He doesn't even have any real dirt on Kendrick or a reason to not like him. Actually it seems like Drake wants Kendrick to like him. Kendrick is questioning Drake's morality, friends, and integrity. Just basically saying he doesn't fw him because of how he carries himself. Drake should just learn to accept that not everyone is gonna d ride him and move on.
Its all because Drake didnt grow up wearing braids and acting tough. He grew up wearing black face. He should just be his Canadian self. That would be unique.😊
# COMPTON stand up!!!! I love my city. Ain’t nothing like saving money when your leaving a legacy behind and don’t want to struggle or want For nothing spending it on things that become depreciated in value
Also Corinthians 6:16 says ““Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.”
its insane on first listen it seems like its nothing there then a few listens deep you realize every single bar has at least 2 meanings its not even fair
You pointed out alot that I didnt know, much respect!! The way he sounds when he says "One is Actually", sounds like he is saying "One is AKtually" meaning one is dj academiks. Lol would be a nice, play of words.
Yeah Drake needs to drop something insane cuz Kendrick dropping the hard diss for Drake and the people and then dropping another one the next day that feels more directed at Drake puts him up by A LOT
Dot dropped this so early that I can’t even decipher half of it yet. But that last half had me going DAMN. Just wordsmithship-wise. The numbers.. DOO DOO DOO
Even though its behind a Kendrick rhyme scheme he playing all the way on Drake's style from the time-stamp series type title to the way he laying the lyrics on the beat. Kendrick is a menace 🔥🔥🔥
I’m not seeing anyone point out that the “live in your purpose” line after “every dog has his day” is possibly referencing A Dog’s Purpose, that movie about a dog dying over and over again
This is what Drake wanted. He wanted & baited Kendrick into replying only for him to get a reply then he responded with memes & IG posts Get in the fckn studio Aubrey !!!
okay so … a lot of talk about wires and leaks got me thinking the line “before you realize you’re not alone” means he literally got drake mic’d up when he tells drake to ask “What would Mic do?” … a double entendre in that Michael Jackson has been drake’s referenced persona … and a hint that he’s literally spilling his beans to fuckin kendrick without realizing … got me thinking it’s game over for drake
Only advice is it would of been better to play the song fully through then give your break down cause this isn’t a reaction video . This is break down by break down of the sonag lyrically I’d prefer to listen fully then go back and go through it But just my opinion Good video love that you did your homework on the song
As great as these 2 tracks have been I get the feeling that Kendrick is baiting him to up the attention before he starts saying all the private shit he knows about. Sounds like someone in drakes camp leaked information.
Rev 6:16 also ties in with the raphael line Also the sunseeker in the marina buying yatchs hes referencing those yatch parties the rich have when they coerce their victims too that he alludes drakes into
I think you missed the “before you’re figure not alone ,what what Mike would do”? Mike has a song called “you are not alone. Indicating a leak in Drakes camp. Which again is a brilliant line
Could it be Yatchy? And I don’t know anything about the guy or Drake and his relationship besides the fact they are tight and get 💅 together, I’m just picking up on these crumbs dropped here…
1 Corinthians 6:16 “Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh." Drake & his BM Sophie Brusseaux
Angel number 616 states, " is a message to ground and consider the full nature of your capabilities. There is no limit to what you can do in this life! Are you making choices in your career that make sense both for how much you can handle and manage, but also for how much you could grow, learn and expand?"
The "I got 3 angels watching me" line is most likely referencing to 2Pac and Kobe Bryant because he uploaded a track on both they birthdays. The 3rd one I'm not sure but it could be his grandma since he used to rap about her being his angel or something along those lines. I'm not 100% sure on this
What i thought was funny asf was that emails leaked 2 days ago that drake tried to take down like that but essentially it was just the own record shutting down their own music as metro and drake have the same deal
If kendrick is using bible references aswell that is prophetic on another level too. You cant beat thst stuff this is some trained in the ways of old school hip hop mentality. The sample everything has a meaning no wasted space
The black glove reminded me of the 1968 Olympics when Tommie Smith & John Carlos raised their black gloved fists in the air as a mean of protest. Your meaning probably makes more sense though... I do know that in his first diss though Kendrick was calling out how Drake is trying to prove he's black so I thought maybe that had something to do with it. But i'm probably wrong especially cause this happened on October 16th & not june 16th. Great video though. Thanks for this, helped me fill in a lot of areas I wasn't sure of. Also, kendrick was only up in the way that he released first. Kendrick bodied him 100% with euphoria. This is just another nail in the coffin .
Lucallis doesn’t need a boost from Kendrick . That pizza spot has been visited by the biggest celebs in the world. He’s just saying he can go to a super big restaurant and not worry about fame . He lives humbly
