Came here after the shootings of Sean reed and ahmaud arbery...I’m not black so maybe it’s not my place to say, but this hurts to see. Even 5 years after this album, it’s the same stuff and the same bullshit excuses from people in power. But I admire the African American and black people of the world due to this. Y’all are resilient. You guys are fighters. You guys never give up on the hope for a brighter future, and it inspires me every day. That’s what this song and album speak to, that spirit of triumph and strength in the African American and black communities. It’s what makes TPAB so powerful to all, even white guys like me who don’t know the black experience of life. So thank you all for your examples of strength and your continued fight for justice.
