Scru this gonna be random af but you gotta react to a female rapper called Che Noir. She got a song that just came out with Rapsody called Black Girl and its fire af. She also got a dope I-95 freestyle. I just recently heard of her but she an elite lyricist
The kind of man Drake is and the people like him are why hip hop is fucked up rn, everybody champion sales and numbers but them niggas kept the game at a stand still creatively
I love that the first song from Kendrick's side of the whole beef was a feature on "Like That", and the final shot was "Not Like Us". Kendrick even says something to the effect of "Now let's see if he's really a problem" which most people attributed to a shot at Cole, but I think with hindsight, you can almost see a train of thought. Starting with "Are you really like that?" ending with the conclusion "No, he's not."
17:42 Don't forget, Kendrick hung around Drake. He got to know a part of Drake in person that we the fans have never seen. So Kendrick is speaking from his viewpoint.
And continued to work with drake until drake didn’t want to work with him o more because of the control verse it wasn’t like he just realized something about him and stopped
@@prolificwonder7382 nah tde punch was on an interview and said control pissed a gang of dudes off diddy even stepped to him bout that king of ny line but he goes on the cypher and only have bars for drake like bruh you don’t call diddy out too? That’s sucker sh*t to me but dot is gonna get a pass
Scru face once again explained it perfectly. Kendrick Lamar humanizes the real life experience of the everyday black person and people in general the good and the bad which makes him relatable on a multitude of levels which is why you can point out his flaws he did it already.
Scu made a fire point! Kendricks detractors point out how he is a hypocrite and not perfect but if you're a fan of Kendrick you know he has been saying he isn't perfect his whole career. That's why none of his detractors can't derail him.
Drake came up against a rapper who could not only diss him like pusha t did, but make a hit song dissing him, thats something very few rappers can do, Drake to his credit being one of those few rappers, and thats also why Drake was so paranoid after dropping push-ups lol, internet trolling ect...he knew what was coming but he had to commit😂
Dude is truly the biggest cornball. Honestly this solidifies why Drake destroyed him with this back and forth nonsense trying to make himself sound like he's righteous and here he beats women. What a joke
The Kendrick and Drake battle kinda reminded me of that last scene from 8 Mile when B-Rabbit and Papa Doc were battling each other and B-Rabbit pretty much named his flaws in the battle to set up where Papa Doc didn’t have any more ammo towards B-Rabbit. With Kendrick, I feel like he had already laid out his truths & his flaws on MM&TBS to show he’s not perfect or not our savior and that he’s only human at the end of the day so the only thing Drake could use against him in the battle was that he was a woman beater and that his wife slept with Dave Free and got pregnant by him which were both false and he proved it in the “Not Like Us” video showing them all dancing in the living room.
Dancing in a video dnt mean shorty aint get slid in on the side but that 8 mile reference def hits cuz I had that same thought b4 the battle even took off
@@slymboi261lol nahh bro. That for sure means that. It was her chance to be in the moment. The fact she did it to his benefit shows she ain’t sliding on the side. Smh. Game is game #RIP
Yea they say we're 2face but it's not that way at all, we like you at face value but if when we get to know you and we don't like what we see we are out so they'll say we're two face, but we're verry in the head thinkers searchers of knowledge and truth, and we just will let you know how we feel about you if you ask, we don't fight unless you hit us, we like using word's but if you hit to hurt you will loose sad to say we keep going untill we're satisfied, sometimes we regret going hard because of the outcome, but we're not fond of am sorries because we never throw the first blow
Great interview but ummm...What was that Twitter troll talking about in regards to SZA??? They act like she been living in Drake's house or something 😂
Man, I only reciently got into the hip hop scene and the culture for about a few years now and seeing kdot getting crowned king of the west coast got me all emotional. I didn't even know king of west coast was a thing until 30 minutes ago and I'm here tearing up.
this is stupid why should you forgive a man for calling you a pdf like the worst slander on a man then people saying it constantly worldwide (especially from drakes perspective which is that it obviously isn't true but he can never prove that because how do you
@@hamadmahmood1879kendrick stans (not fans) are dense. Same for drake stans. Seeing these comments on EVERY video is just mind boggling, both stans are rent free in eachothers heads. Im just a cole fan that enjoyed the beef untill it got deep.
Kendrick may forgive Drake…. But never working together…. Drake called Whitney a bitch, a hoe, claimed she cheated on him with his best friend and people closest to Kendrick…. I’m sorry any of my friends says that to me… done for life… maybe forgive but never forget and never friends again
Kendrick reminds me of XXX with how conscious and self-aware they were with their influence and how bigger than music they are. They both were motivated by creative expression and giving their fanbases morals and tools to help themselves not just with music but with everyday things. Your psyche, your intentions… everything matters, and they knew it. Thats why Kendrick knew X had something special. Since he’s gone, his fans are the only ones to spread the message still and thats what Ima do everytime I see it.
Respect to Kendrick for interviewing SZA in return despite him being the interviewee. It’s heartwarming to see him asking his friend how she’s been. Also, it felt like SZA lowkey wanted to talk about Meet the Grahams lmao. She asked Kendrick if he’s taken Ayahuasca, then later on said “strip the ego from the bottom”.
Kevin Gates said in a song back in like 2016 or something he said “They scared of Kendrick Lamar, boy mind frame with the art, boy musta read Art Of War” and I agree😮💨😮💨 Dot is the goat
the 80 in section.80 is Kendrick being born in the 80s. Ronald Raegan era babies who experienced the effects of war on drugs, trickle down economics, redlining, etc
My favorite thing to tell ppl is I make jokes about myself, so what others' say doesn't bother me as much as it would if I didn't. Being honest with yourself is a plus even when you're wrong. This is what makes Kendrick who he is......Perfectly imperfect.
Copying my comment from another vid, but I’m glad to hear Kendrick reaffirm the intent behind Not Like Us being to make a distinction based on values, not necessarily demographics. That’s how I initially interpreted it, but I was hesitant to promote that interpretation because, as a white guy, it’s admittedly a wishful and self-serving interpretation. But when we look at values, I can really identify with the man Kendrick represents even though our backgrounds and life experiences are completely different. I’ve seen the people who are not like us, and I can wholeheartedly say that I hate the way that they walk, the way that they talk, … PS the values interpretation is also consistent with the way Kendrick eviscerated Drake while elevating Adonis on Meet the Grahams.
Exactly. From the beginning the US knew it was never about race, or being biracial like people were trying to make it seem. It was always about morals and values. Aubrey fans are just like him so they tried and are still trying to push a false narrative about the meaning of the song. What I don’t understand is why his fans don’t have a problem with the pdf file accusations, when there’s video evidence of him doing that. I keep saying birds of a feather
How you not catch him saying Mother I Sober lol that was on purpose to me. They said SZA and Kendrick sat down for an hour… hope they release that interview
The game didn’t switch up. He just wants his recognition in the game. Kendrick got that recognition before him because he switched sides less than the game. The game still a legend. If only the game and 50 could make one more classic… man
I'm so glad Kendrick finally broke down what he meant when saying "Not Like Us" cause some niggas just ran with the most stupid things lol Like some people thought it was a black vs white thing and even thought this whole battle had something to do with that smh. I know people probably still gonna misinterpret this somehow but at least he put out the real definition.
W Scru for helping to break generational trauma. Real people have real emotions and KDOT demonstrates that to a tee. No need to build up walls for the sake of toughness when you know what makes you tick and what your priorities are. W Scru one more time, his lens is clear in what vision he sees
If you understand spirituality, listened to the audio book or read the book ‘Conversations with God’ you will understand what he means when he says he talks to God... So off of that alone he is not crazy.
As someone who’s recently been discussing vulnerability with their counselor, that man has definitely gone to therapy. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s watched tf outta some Brene Brown too. If you know, you know. 🤣
Kendrick could say “one day I pooted, I raised my hand owned it & knew it was stinky but it was mine. It was cleansing. At times I cry and water my plays with the tears.” Geeeeezzzzzzzzz I mean every word 😂 🏆
No, they'll never be cool. kendrick warned him before family matters, and Drake went there with family. It's a done deal with that relationship. Was there even a relationship to begin with?
The new YNG Martyr song STFU went crazy today. By the way he definitely Glorb. Since you reacted to Guapanese the vibes and lyrical similarities they been putting out are undeniable
16:01 I see what you mean in terms of him being above it knowing not forgiving him is only poisonous to himself, but I dont think he's letting up off his neck until he repents.
