#tameimpala #kendricklamar #mashups #memes Inspired by Kendrick Lamar and Tame Impala's collaboration "Backwards" and a few the recent crop of Kendrick x Tame Impala mashups.
@@NotDingse sure. not better than both of the originals. sounds great for a mashup, bet the individual song meanings on themself, and as a part of the album are muuuch bigger than this mash-up.
@Joosie Jones my point of the comment was that those basic girls probably haven't listened to Sing About Me, for example. Or good kid, etc. M.A.A.D city is great, probably my second favourite on this album.
people probably think that this is as simple as just dropping the two songs ontop of eachother but there is an insane amount of production skill being shown here, make sure that everything fits in the bar and is in the right key while not overpowering the sound with one song or the other. insanely impressive my dude.
paris Soares yeah i first heard rihanna’s and then i got into tame impala and thought he covered it and then i realized she released hers in 2016 and his in 2015 and my brain was blown lol
It's extremely close to the original M.A.A.D. City, all the lyrics and drums are the same.. The Tame Impala music is a lot different but doesn't really change the song very much at all
My absolute favourite detail of this is the way the music slips into the reversed bit after the bridge as Kendrick says "you moving backwards". Like what kind of next level shit do you have to be on to think of that
This is literally a perfect representation of my parents relationship. Two totally different people making a masterpiece. I’m not the masterpiece of course
