Euphoria was the diss. 6:16 In LA was the warning. Meet the Grahams was the murder. Not Like Us is Kendrick dancing on Drake's grave. Lesson? Never go into a rap battle with a Pulitzer winner.
Yeah. This song is like during the NBA Finals when the series is over, 30 seconds left and the announcers start thanking the producers, camera people, caterers, hotel staff etc.
I've known that since "Like That" & the hits have not only kept coming ever since, K-Dot has even MORE in the chamber! To say that Drake picked the wrong fight with the wrong one is the understatement of the year! FAFO, mofo! 🤯💥🎶🎤😭
Dismantling a man's whole personality and character in a six minute track then dancing on his grave with #1 song is the most diabolical thing I have ever seen
the "i left a whole cookout for this"/"i can't even go shopping bro"/"i- i need sleep"/"i live here now, as you guys can see, cuz kendrick won't let me leave" section has me rolling
No because that's how it for real felt 😂😂. Kendrick wasn't letting anyone get anything done. We were still processing the last song and then he just dropped another. I truly think that man could have kept going but just chose to end it
Keep in mind this man dropped a diss track while people were uploading their Family Matters reaction/breakdown. He wouldn't let them leave their recording room nor get sleep.
Drake fans was talkin all that shit saying "i cant get jiggy with this shit" so Kendrick dissed Drake on a banger to shut them up. You got what you wanted 😂
Also Kendrick's got about 50 or 60 quotables that keep popping into my head with rhythm constantly, since the beef. Literally can't remember a single Drake line without putting effort in.
@@WillieG-jh6jzthat’s what happens when REAL black culture makes a statement man 🤷♂️. Our music and our vibes are for EVERYONE that’s not a fake ass piece of shit regardless of race or ethnicity lol.
@@mookiestewart3776 that shits crazy man im from turkey and he got me falling trying to cripwalk, absolutely masterpiece of a beat and flow props to west coast
There's character assassination, then there's this. He assassinated the whole brand. After this song no one is gonna say OVO, everyone's gonna say OVHOE cause he made that catchy. Kendrick knew exactly where and how to hurt.
I feel like this is a perfect showing of why Kendrick is one of the greatest artists out today. In Meet the Grahams, everyone felt like they just saw a horror movie from a first-person perspective. Everyone felt like they saw something they should not have seen. Then Kendrick is like, "damn, that was kind of dark wasn't it... Y'all want to dance?" And has everyone yelling O-V-HOE. There is a certain level of genius and talent that it takes to do something like that & that is Kendrick.
After murdering Drake with "Meet the Grahams", Kendrick knew he needed a song for everyone to dance to at the funeral. Hence with "Not Like Us" slaps as hard as it does.
And you didn't listen. Aight here we go. Let me break it and you down. Lol. Not Like Us was we can stop here but oh i got more. Wap wap wap wap wap dot fk him up!!!! 😂😂😂😂 😂
The Fat Albert "hey hey hey" is crazy 🤣 but the "step this way, step this way" is a reference to R Kelly "Step in the name of love" 😂😂😂😂 that's insane!!
My uncle from Watts recently died and I attended the funeral with my family. After the burial and saying goodbye, I couldn't stay sad because my uncle loved Kendrick Lamar so hearing this at the reception had everyone jumping and dancing. Thank you Kendrick GOAT
I lived through the Pac vs. Big, Nas vs. Jay, 50 vs. Ja, and now this... this might be because of social media, but I've never seen anything like this. Social Media made this beef 10x better than any of the other beefs. This is timestamped to where Drake can't ever run away from it. Forever... Anytime he gets online from this point on. He has to come across this.
Same. I haven't listened to rap/hip hop in years and I've been tapped into this since Euphoria. We got disses whenever. 😅. It was just the other rapper responded, months later. This was literal days of multiple tracks released relentlessly. What a gift to be Gen X. Kendrick Lamar is exceptional, Pac would've been proud. He is defending that Crown with everything in him. This battle wasn't even close. I'm excited about listening to his albums now. I've never listened to any of them, his or Drakes, but this has gained K-Dot another Fan. Sensational.
@Owoheirs lol, that's dope. I've been listening to Dot for 10+ years. He's one of my favorite rappers. Nice to see him getting the respect he deserves and gaining new fans. Drake on the other hand... I don't listen to his music.
Wow, this was so dope!! Kendrick dissed him on a bop got everybody vibin to it AND removed all copyright claims on top of that for everyone who worked OT covering this back and forth. Yeah this is over.
There is only one of the diss tracks that he got taken down, and that was a version of "Meet the Grahams" that took out the part about a secret daughter. He said what he said, and he stands by it.
@@SabbathtageI don’t believe this at all. I don’t believe Kendrick has the time or the drive to be watching every reaction like that At first I was gonna ask for a source or details but honestly I’m just deciding to call bullshit 😂
I fucking love this. I'm as milky white as they get (Actual Norwegian), but I FUCKING LOVE THIS. I already liked Kendrick, but now he's obtained GOD status.

I just now realized something. “Sweet Chin Music and I won’t pass the aux” Sweet Chin Music was Shawn Michaels’ finisher. Who was Shawn’s biggest rival? The CANADIAN wrestler, Bret Hart. That’s insane. I thought Kendrick fans reached for meaning in the lyrics sometimes but goddamn I see why now.
Bro he did the same thing with the “Ask what would Mike do” line … sure referencing the song … but also referencing the mole … since the song goes “you are not alone … I AM HERE WITH YOU” but yeah we’re not going to talk about how R. Kelly produced that … has to be a coincidence.
Kendrick is such a genius and ahead of time. The line when he says “I’m glad Deroz came home yall didn’t deserve him neither” I didn’t really understand it at first but now that out 2 and 2 together: DeRozen used to play for Toronto and he was just traded to Sacramento a couple days ago. (Sacramento is a California city) thus- “glad he came home” (By the way the news broke about Derozan being traded to Sacramento came out like a month after “Not like us” so Kendrick must’ve already knew that he was going to be traded)
Not to mention "Ask what Mike would do" because MJ fired his whole team at one point due to paranoia and a lack of trust, aka what Drake should have done.
The best thing about that 'A minooooor' bar is that on a piano, there's no black keys in an A minor chord. He's calling Drake a pedo and still saying he isn't black enough.
My husband is a delivery driver and while he was delivering to the people in the kitchen ,they were playing this song, lol lol.yeah Kendrick did that😊😊
kendrick literally revived hip hop with this one we’ve never seen a diss track do this worldwide, this our generation hit em up i know pac lovin it! west side! 👏🏽👏🏽
Kendrick Lamar broke my heart, I was obsessed with Drake and now I can’t even listen to old song no mo. Thank you for freeing me Kendrick🏆🏆🏆 you have made HISTORY FOREVER A LEGEND☀️☀️☀️🤌🏾😮💨😂
I still can't believe we got to live thru this in real time. 10. 15. 20 yrs from now ppl are gonna be talking abt this moment. D.ont R.ap A.gainst K.endrick E.ver!
Oh that 2 chainz line went over my head, drake and 2 chainz had that song "No lie" 😅 K. Dot: "2 chainz said you're good, but he lied!! 😂 This man is diabolical
J2O you a goddamn legend big dawg. I thought you only did compilations of shows, had no idea you did comps of music, let alone rap beefs. Edit: Yo that ending was wild as hell! I knew it was bad but I didnt know it got THAT bad! They played the shit in stadiums the day it dropped??? Oh yeah Drake aint recovering from this. Period.
3:11 when they all got out of the car after the "a minor" line 😂😂 that was me when i heard it, left my room and house in shock then laughed bout it outside 💀 i was GAGGED lmao
