One thing a lot of people look over is ‘assassin aka agent sasco’ on the hook. He’s a Jamaican artist singing in patois which is the dialect spoken in Jamaican which came from African slaves being forced to speak English. So that fits perfectly with the theme of the song

Fun fact Good Kid M.A.A.D City plays like a novel/movie begging to end. To Pimp a Butterfly is the album that plays like a poem that ties all his previous works together. You can literally tie tracks together directly from past works (ex. Kieyshas song - Sing About Me - You). Mind blowing

Excellent reaction! Love the channel! If you guys like introspective Kendrick this is definitely the album for you. In my opinion, it's a 10/10 album and definitely one you can sink your teeth into and spend a lot of time picking apart. You guys also need to listen to Good Kid, MA.A.D. City from front to back. TPAB is a perfect album IMO. There's so many layers and personal emotions going on throughout the album. It's pretty much his life starting at his music career and him maturing as time went by. One of the best rappers ever.
