I love Perk and I think he’s right that the MVP front runner fluctuates but he’s a little quick to switch up. I also love Ja and he’s right that Ja is killing top competition so I get the impulse but he’s got to sustain that a little bit longer to have that consideration. But this team plays well no matter who’s missing. We missing like 6 players now and got a dude that was on the g-league last week starting now and still beat the Nets at home. In the last few games like at least 5, Morant is a top 5 mvp candidate but overall for the season until this point he's not a top 5 mvp candidate, he's just outside the top 5 like either 6 or 7. If he keeps playing like he's been playing in the last few games he will be a top 5 mvp candidate no doubt. But one thing for sure he's a absolute spectacular young player. So far he kinda reminds me of Westbrook's phenomenal athleticism with a much better feel and IQ for the game. He's the second best point guard in the NBA so far imo.
