Have you seen what the beef between Kendrick and Drake gave us? Some of the best music from 2024 (if not the best) came from their beef, and both Kendrick and Drake are trending and getting large amounts of views on their videos in just a few days. This beef has been good for both of them (although Drake could suffer some consequences if the rumors of his pedophilia and his team’s criminality are true)
@@________. But at what cost, j. Cole already said in his verse, "Pimpin' they kids out for views to just to be in the news Could never be me, I piss in the celebrity tea"
@@Theenlightenedone17 If the allegations of one is false and the other is true and wins, then there is no cost for the winner. The stupidest person in the room would therefore be the loser, and the smartest the winner.
Nah nah it couldnt have been, cole has nothing nearly as damning to go after as drake did. He may well have lost a back and forth but hed never go out looking nearly this bad
If I’m being honest, this kinda horrified me, and if Meet the Grahams was playing instead of that in the background, I probably would’ve had nightmares
I just came from a video of this with meet the grahams in the background looking for it on this platform only to find this. You were right, it was perfect. I’m looking for the original animator of this piece.
Out of the whole movie, this scene was the only one that got me shaken up like man, it made me sit down there and blankly stare at the floor. The sound the knife made as it dug deeper was horrifying.
Movie is so ucked. The fact that he let him live is like, “bro, I just went through that, I didn’t want to do that, I don’t want to do it again” shhh 🤫 😢
The part that got me shook the most was in the one town when the bald guy was trying to take the little girl with them but then got shot by the sniper and he was just laying there until Jackson killed the sniper straight through the scope takes skill and then the letter to his dad it was so sad
@@lilrickyno2I hated him but I also kind of got him. He was not battle trained. He was a translator. A glorified desk job. His reaction was probably one of the most natural for any average person who is thrown in such a situation without experience.
Between the edit of slightly louder footsteps echoing down the stairs with each step Kendrick takes and the slight pause he does to glance at J-Cole's head. I'd say you did a fantastic job adapting the scene to show the sheer unhinged menace energy that Kendrick is exuding.
J cole crying on that bike is the FUNNIEST thing I've seen in years this is literal Boondocks energy lmao thank you for this, 10/10 Edit: HOLY SHIT 43K THANK YOU
That's when my laughter kicked in couldn't hold it and didn't know it was kendrick and drake till I saw jcool watching on his bicycle jcool secretly is the real one who's gonna come on top watch kendrick gonna get busted for doing something and jcool be the only one left he's pretty much the main character watching everyone take out each othere out as he magically dodges all the problems main characters energy
Letting fear win is exactly what disgusts people, and exactly what we should discourage, "both the cowardly and the courageous fear, but only one takes action"
No we don't he still deserves to be clowned. Backing out is one thing, but apologizing at one of your shows and rambling about how much you love another man is bitch shit.
@@HalohbotTech you miss a lot dialogue and sounds from the scuffle instead it’s replaced with a meme song. You also miss out on the guy bleeding to death from a neck shot as the fight on top of him. Go watch the full scene. It’s gut wrenching this made it funny not darker.
Yeah only sad that 80% of people were saying that he was stupid for doing that just a month ago and now he the smart one. Rap fans truly have no spine. Makes me sad to think I did associated with so smooth brain people😢
Thats just modern people in general, they lack foresight, and live only in the immediate moment, Cole seen the bigger picture before it was even a realization
@@RJwarriorpoet The person he kills at the end is an entirely different actor. They were not the same person, and they were not the same character. You are repeating a very common myth.
Thats what im saying!!! Dude just didnt wanna live. And also stairway man is a punk because WALK UP THE STAIRS AND PUT A BULLET IN THEIR BACK INSTEAD OF LOOKONG AT THE DOOR LIKE A BABY BACK BITCH
@@LevsShorts99during covid their families who locked their own family out cuz they were afraid of virus, humans are fearful creatures when it come to survival they dont know how they would react
Bro half of Cole's last album was talking about how he's so much better than everyone else, he's not the quiet guy he's the loudest in the room till shit pops off, then he's quiet because he's a coward.
@@SuperBeepD it wasn't because of cowardice. Schoolboy Q asked him to bow out and told him drake is the real target here. And cole agreed to just let kendrick do his thing. Drake the real coward cause he was there and immediately took off once he heard cole wasn't tryna back him up agaisnt kendrick.
@@WristTapeDrowzzyI think they did talk to him but let's be real I think he seen how poorly 7 minute drill did and he dropped out, and let's be real if the shoe was on the other foot do you really think Kendrick would let j Cole slide?
@@SuperBeepD No, but kendrick has a different mindset then cole. Doesn't make cole a coward. Cole said things on that record that he genuinely didn't believe because of peer pressure. Cole is overall a peaceful person. Kendrick self admittedly is Bi-Polar and also values the top spot more. Now if Kendrick said something about cole he didn't believe i genuinely believe he would apologize. Maybe not on tour but definitely on social or podcast. He just wouldn't say something he doesn't believe. Which is where I have criticism about cole.
I remember when Saving Private Ryan came out, This scene was horrifying AND had a lot of us pissed off at the same time due ole buddy being a coward. Totally brutal... this scene was so visceral it made it completely gut wrenching. Great work capturing the same type of energy. This took me back.
@@sebastiencurchod5794 - Exactly. There was no real good reason he couldn't run up there and save his comrade. That scene was one of the best ever recorded because it was so abysmal.
People are people. Not much you can do about that. I’m sure there a lot of simple things we all can do or change. Or views etc. That are so easy and logical. Yet we don’t..
@@Puppy_Puppingtonthing is he could’ve easily gotten the drop on him with his rifle, he knew neither the guy didn’t have his gun ready otherwise he would’ve heard gunshots instead of his buddy struggling for his life
True id like to see that version too I do think bbl drizzy adds a dark comedy undertone and some comedic relief in away but it is unsettling too based on the context of what’s happening meet the grahams would be super dark tho
What a crazy time to be alive. I just pictured myself almost a decade ago , relentlessly listening to Forest Hills drive , and to Pimp a butterfly , every girl I was messing with was was listening to Nicki Pink print , that Mac Miller album , and Drakes Nothing was the Same … It’s crazy we are here a decade later , then unanimously referred to as “The Big 3” best in the game , as big if not bigger stars than they were back then , and finally it came to this , direct conflict between 3 of the big artists of an era, like this is really some monumental shit
@@angelresistance Jcole never disrespected him. Kendrick knows this. His diss record was mild and he apologized solely for the fact he even put it out to start a battle. Thats why Ken doesn't hate Cole and Cole is in the clear. Cole knew he couldn't battle a friend.
@NotVictor. Point of the movie, the guy with a gun wasn't a soldier, he was a medic who froze. one of the best anti war movies ever and a very upsetting scene.
Everyone shitting on Cole but do you all remember middle child??? Where he says he ain't gonna beef with anyone out of jealousy n shit. I think that's wh he dropped it but that's just me
@@joeltaylorthethird5443In this scene the guy on the stairs is a fellow soldier of the one that was getting stabbed and he cowardly listened to them fight and scream in pain even letting the enemy soldier walk free right by him while he holds a gun in hand. They have been fighting side by side for months and he watched him die without lifting a finger.
"It's also kind of like the Godzilla (Kendrick Lamar) vs Kong (J. Cole) scene when Godzilla looks at Kong, then Kong puts down his ax/weapon, then Godzilla walks into the ocean.".
