The Ford flooded once again in Kenilworth after heavy overnight rain and melting snow. Not too many vehicles went through but one elderly driver did try and got stuck and had to be rescued by the Emergency Services.
I was laughing my head off when it cut out and he was stuck but then saw it was a confused looking old boy who needed help just to get out the car and felt bad for him!!
Once half a cup of water gets through the air filter it’s all over, bent con-rods rebuilt engine. If he was lucky it just shorted the electrics. People don’t realise the engine air intake is right behind the grill on most vehicles.
Simply liability reasons, if they touch the car, he could say they caused damage etc. If they get him out, he is safe and the specialists in recovery with necessary insurance are taking care of their part.
Because they are softies who wont get stuck in, they thrive on drama, in 1993 me and 3 friends rescued 4 folk and an unborn from a house that was burning to the ground at 3am, we had them out before anyone arrived....we dont have to follow protocol while folk are dying...fkn sorted..
no it would be fine when he wasn´t driving so "fast". no problem for the BMW. and why in hell of earth they just not towed it out???? also: when the driver would not try to start the engine it would be maybe undamadged
New BMW’s should come with a warning in the owners hand book, “Do not take through fords, deep puddles or standing water, it will cost you a tow and you will get a wet bum”.
Front wave must be steady don't just ram in that's the worse you can do straight into air intake...get the bow wave affect going and most cars will make it throw can't just batter in there

No, probably better to buy up the entire village, castle and surrounding land, and turn it into a theme park, with the emphasis on 4x4s. That'l teach 'em...lol!
