All he had to do was show his sword Faking his dead in order to do what exactly? He could have just killed rukia and taking the hokyoku while still mantaining his position as captain. Its not like soul society wanted her alive at the moment. Worst case scenario he could have use his powers to fake rukias excecution and just kill her and take the hokyoku without reveling anything. Even if he wanted to fake his death, he still could have done that after instead of doing it in the middle of a fucking invasion. Guess killing the guys he manipulated so easily to think Urahara was the bad guy was that important. Not achieving his plan by his own merit, but by people stupidity. First the dumb councel who didnt bother to hear urahara and the assistant side, or you know, the ACTUAL VICTIMs WHO WERE STILL ALIVE? Seriosly, half of the captains of that period were part of that incident and no one bothered to do even a basic investigation? Hell, even if they all were accused for treason or something they could have still warned the rest about aizen. Theres no way noone wouldnt listen to them. For example yoruichi fangirl would have absolutly done it. Or what about Uraharas dumb plan of hiding the hokyoku inside rukia. He knows soul society would come for her. Doing this would only result in Aizen getting closer to it. Even if put your bets on the guy never finding that out why risk it? Wasnt Earth where he, his assistant, yoruichi and the vigar could guard it way safer? Or what about the vigar and the other captains not using their bankais or hollow form against aizen? And what about Urahara, Ichifos father and youruichi only coming AFTER Aizen already defeated everybody, and then not even using their bankais. My god. I get Urahara had a convoluted plan and all, but kubo? Couldnt you just find a way for defeating Aizen or Aizen defeating everybody else without making everyone an idiot or without pulling shit out of their asses? Mantaining Gin close even though he knew his real intentions. You cant even say he had gin undercontrol cause the only reason gin didnt won was because hokyoku bullshit/plot armor (gin isnt the protagonist so cant be the one taking Aizen out, basicly). Never using his bankai even when losing, although thats a problem half of the cast has. Imagine being in a life or dead situation and not using all your power. Seriously, bleach cast is the most moronic cast Ive ever seen,and you know why? Cause kubo is not good at planning, just as Aizen Pd: Why did he decided to attack ichigos town? He could have only waited for the hokyuku to ascend him to godhood in a safe place instead of the middle of the battlefield? Crap, what a fucking dumbass. If he even bothered to not attack and only defend he could have just killed byakuya, kenpachi and Ichigo while still just staying in his castle, but no, somehow a surprise attack was better. Even if you tell me it was because that moment was the only he could have oppened the door to the soul king (Idk, i dont remember), he could have just waited. He is inmortal, like all shinigamis and its not like he had to actually do it at that moment. We later saw the last villian arc just passing through with the only obstacule being some captain level guards, wich would have mean shit against evolved Aizen
