Hey Ryan, I FINALLY got this model from offer up for $150. I absolutely love this vacuum. Watching your videos have helped me make my vacuum buying easier. I appreciate you man.
The crossover has a great concept as far as the carpet/floor nozzle that is 2 in 1z also the disposable bag has the best suction distribution. Now, I used this vacuum for a couple of months and unfortunately the bristles wear off too fast then the floor head scratches the wood floors. The replacements for that part alone was $200. I got the whole vacuum (display at sears) for $180. I’m not getting a replacement. Too sad ! Besides that, it is by far the quietest kenmore vacuum I’ve ever used! Btw, I’m a professional residential/commercial cleaner for over 20 years and I’ve owned every single kenmore vacuum created since 1999.
*This is the first cordless vacuum 🌼 **allabout.wiki/Kenmore** I am aware of that has good power and good a high quality battery. I'm probably going to buy another for my home.*
They are heavy and bulky. I like the 400 series they are much smaller and lighter. The only drawback to the 400 series is the short 6 foot hose. See my video how I modified my 400 series The new style of hose handle like on this vacuum is awkward and bulky when trying to dust furniture and blinds etc. This is Kenmores only vacuum with an 8 foot hose. I would not want anything shorter. I adapted the 400 series handle to the 800 series hose. Works great and is very easy to do.
Floor Nozzle Assembly broke, flimsy plastic piece in the back of it broke after 3 years and now it doesn't stay attach to the floor agitator. $112 plus shipping for a new one.
@@RyanSellman1 Metal will need to be embedded into the surrounding plastic, it may then break the plastic somewhere else. It's a bad design. They expected a thin 1/8 inch plastic strip to hold in place the nozzle assembly, bad engineering.
How do you break this stuff? I've been using one for over ten years and the only thing that has broken was a hose latch. Everything else has been dead reliable.
LOVE Ken can vacs...sold them for sev yrs however this model just crapped out after only 2 1/2 yrs. very disappointed w/new manufacturer of these "top-of-the-line" vacs
@@garrettdodson6110 Panasonic ended North American vacuum production in late 2016 and stopped making vacuums for both Kenmore and their own Panasonic branded products. All the molds were passed along to Suzhou Cleva Electric Appliance Company, Ltd., a company that has been making Craftsman shop vacs for quite a long time. If anything I think Suzhou Cleva made some improvements, especially on the power nozzles (the wheels are on steel axles now and won't fall off) and motor sealing.
How are you managing to break them? I have used one for over ten years and the only part that has broken so far is a hose latch. The CrossOver brush and it's articulated neck have been reliable for me.
Yes it does. There is a pedal that you press to raise the height of the power nozzle. It goes up from low to high with each pedal press, then drops back down to low when it is at it's maximum height adjustment.
Only use style Q, their synthetic microfiber HEPA rated bag. The paper Style C bag will pop when 3/4 full. BIG mess! This machine has more than enough power to shred a paper bag when you put some dense dirt in it. Don't use aftermarket bags either. They have thin mounting cards that will leak dust. Use only genuine Kenmore branded Style Q bags and your bag chamber and pre-motor filter will stay nice and clean.
