Linares rocked him, loma stunned him, and Ryan folded him up. You can't tell me Devin is weight drained every match. Seems like every fight Dev gets the Bambi legs or his eyes get lost in space. It's actually visible. I like the kid and think he handles himself like a pro. But that chin is sketchy AF.

I just personally looked at Haney's previous fights it's no surprise. In his last two to three fights you can see the holes in Haney's game. The chin and lack of power and the both rehydrated.

Not having to cut those 3 pounds definitely helped Ryan but I'm not sure it was the main factor in Devin's loss (1) Devin has a suspect chin (2) has built his record on smaller guys (3) had the wrong fight plan (4) kept forgetting to roll after throwing his right so was often open to Ryan's left hook. Not withstanding Devin could have fought a better fight it is a legitimate loss an no excuses should be offered or accepted. I don't think Ryan will take a rematch at 140 so not sure that's gonna happen for a while -- maybe a couple years from now if Devin gets up to 147 where the result will likely be the same - Devin's chin ain't that great and at 147 its gonna be an even bigger liability.
