I’ve just spent a week with him at the MWTM seminar at La Fabrique. It was a life changing, mind blowing experience. It turned my whole perception of mixing upside down and inside out.
you can actually argue with mix with the masters marketing choices, but man, shawn deserves some huge respect. true record producer, some of the best sounding album of the last decade were produced and mixed by this man
This vid made me laugh !! I've seen Shawn's full vid and it's pretty amazing but i love what he does as well so i'm pretty sold. MWTMSTRS is pretty lame because they rarely explain what they do and why they do it. Scheps vids are pretty good and Jacquire King and a few others but hard to learn anything. They also have plenty of so called MSTRS with no vids. Shawn's philosophy was way more interesting than his crazy creative ideas. For me the most exciting guy in the business at the moment....
