Late 70s freezing in the house with just 1 hot water bottle between 7 siblings, stomachs empty but you and the team gave us happiness in struggling times .thanks to the king and the whole team YNWA
Kenny always has been and always will be my all time hero. On and off the pitch Kenny is an absolute legend and his work with the Hillsborough families is admirable. Total and utter respect
Love the player, the manager but also the man. A heart of gold. Brilliant but humble and leads by example. That's why his family are beautiful too. Well earned !
Kenny was always my favorite and incredible player gifted with amazing talents and skill plus a really nice and humble man well done Sir Kenny by the way loved this football club at 9 years old still do 56 years later.
The greatest player to ever put on the Liverpool shirt. I remember his first game...Kevin who? A joy to grow up with this man as my boyhood hero. So much love for Kenny and his family.
Kenny is one helleva fella, so down to earth, the man never forgetting where he came from, Glasgow and Liverpool are so much alike in everything, tough auld cities but with hearts of gold, that's why Kenny fitted right in at Liverpool...aw ra best❤
Bobby Love sorry to correct you it’s “are” shite not “our” shite? But the rest is correct so no more English lessons for you today. You can now go home on the special bus for divvy dinlos, first stop spastic ville where your getting off.
You're probably one of the many fanboy , non Scouse , Liverpool " supporters " who has never been to Liverpool , let alone Anfield . Amazing that a team from a shite league became the first British team to win the European Cup . How did that happen ?
ThefightingCelt many teams in the premiership are global brands and have supporters from all over the world. Know a days you don’t have to be born by the stadium to support that team. Just because you don’t have a season ticket doesn’t make you less off a fan. Many people spend tons of money on merchandise for themselves and kids, also subscribe to sports channels to watch the matches, which gives the club a massive income stream. They support that team just as much. I’m not having a go.
They are not true supporters . Those people are nothing but impressionistic glory hunters who probably switch allegiances every two or three seasons . Supporting a club and admiring a team from afar are two different things . I listened to so called Liverpool fans being interviewed in Madrid the other evening on the news and I heard only one Scouse accent among them - a man in his 50s who was genuinely emotional at being in Madrid to sèe his team . The rest : bandwagon glory hunters of the worst sort - denying true bona fide fans a ticket for the match .
@@ThefightingCelt lol thats absolute bs. how can any liverpool fan be a glory hunter. havent won a trophy in almost a decade before number 6. most of the fans i know here in asia have been so for 10, 15 years.
Well done Kenny you deserve this honour and more, great player in his day, for clubs and country, now a giant of a man in liverpool, been through all of life's emotions with the good people of liverpool happy and very sad times , easy to see why he is loved and highly thought off there , respect to you king Kenny dalglish, come on the people of liverpool get this man in bronze overlooking the famous mersey for wone of your city's adopted sons. My heart goes out to you Kenny well done, from a fellow Scot. 👏🏴😁🏴
To All Liverpool Fans (especially the ones like me who have been following them since the early 70s) - If Kenny had not resigned under the circumstances that he did (and any human being with an ounce of compassion would have done the same), Liverpool FC would still be the most successful team in English League history.
Kenny Dalglish is the ultimate role model, he well an truly deserves this award,, he's the greatest Scottish ever. and the greatest Liverpool player of all time, truly world class,, John Martin, Sydney Australia,,
Best player Liverpool ever had one of best of all time get well soon King Kenny it was a joy to watch you play those were the times when Liverpool kicked everyone's ass.
He is not just king Kenny in Glasgow and Liverpool, We at Blackburn Rovers, also recognise his unique talent.Congratulations on this award ! How many do you need ? .
It was an absolute travesty that it took so long for his knighthood, not only his massive success as a player, but time he committed to the Hillsborough families, he was only person to attend all 96 funerals, and on top of that the work he has done for cancer charities, especially clatterbridge hospital on the wirral. A great man
As a kid, even though I was a Newcastle supporter, I thought he was awesome. I wrote and asked for an autograph. It took almost 2 years and a complaint to get it. That was the beginning of me going off him. Then he became the Newcastle manager, and we all know how that went.
Lucky fortunate to c king kenny played remember as kid daglish rush destroying teams for fun early 80s my heroes you'll never walk alone... best team in the world liverpool.
Great player great man of great teams of course Liverpool what time period that was even though im Arsenal fan..I'm football fan who loves to watch the best and Kenny dalglish was the best of the best
I remember when Kenny left us to go to Liverpool for£440k a snip in today's over inflated prices for guys who'd never be able to go to the shop for laces never mind do his boots Kenny had it all he didn't always do it in dark blue but in the hoops of Celtic & the red of Liverpool we both watched a king play football Glaswegians knew he was a king Liverpool FC soon found that out for themselves at Wembley in the European cup final when he scored the winning goal after the horror of Hillsborough Kenny was like a saint to the Scoucers a richly deserved award for a football icon of the game a bhoy who became king ynwa hh...ps all the best in Madrid on Saturday Liverpool FC 👍👌👏 allez allez allez ynwa hh
Celtic's best ever player, would be worth 100 million nowadays, no need for the Sir nonsense, will always be "King Kenny" for me, great memories playing in the green and white hoops, ach aye those were the days indeed.
