Love Kenny Dillingham. Been in his corner since day 1 ! Does everything the RIGHT way...insituted Leadership back at ASU. Who wanted want to play at ASU right now ? Especially, a top local kid !? The assistants ASU has right now--are also elite coaches who built up a top reputation.
It is very early and I know from the past several years.. I got very hopeful too early.. but I see signs.. I like the steady progress and the coach's overall approach!! Forks Up!! Go Devils!!
‘93 grad here that’s been watching ASU football since the Cooper years. This team is probably the most steady, this early in the season, of about any team since the mid-Snyder years. I’m most impressed by overall defense and much better discipline to avoid penalties. If the passing game comes alive, and key players stay healthy, this team will be able to get bowl eligible and be set to reach much better potential next season and after. Coach D. is right that the team’s recovery and win in 4th qtr against MSU is a great sign. Most squads of the past many years would’ve folded and lost that game.
KD is doing a tremendous job with building a much needed culture here again. The only thing I'd like to see more of is some lesser-known players getting shouted out for improving the culture whether it be on or off the field. 13:00 was great example of this with him making it a team focus conversation instead of what the Media wanted to focus on just one player
Maybe it is the media's job to be highlighting others more often than just the focal point players in terms of improving the culture with their ability
It is great to see ASU winning again. While you can't win them all, we need to win far more than we lose. I have been supporting them for going on 60 years and I have not been this excited about a coach since the Kush days. I sure hope we can keep him.
JD had some killer plays as a true freshman. I remember that Michigan State game where he got hit for a rushing TD and got rag dolled into some spin thing and clinched the game.
