I so agree with you about Kim Burrell...there are great singers and vocalist and then there's Kim Burrell... I had the privilege to play bass for her and couldn't focus on the songs because of her anointing and ability...ijs😅

@@Circlealignmentgroup I definitely saw that video and yet it doesn't change the truth. Her placement, creativity, musical acumen and invention are unparalleled to anyone else in the business and several famous singers(world renowned) have said it. I saw that video and what I saw was Kim Burrell having a good time, PLAYING with some notes. I think the brother is very talented no lie but he has not provided any solid evidence that he could be her match or even compare to the decades that Kim has been out here issuing vocal savagery if you will. If nothing else but the fact that she did it first without her alot of the singers like him that sing the way they do would never exist. Not only has she changed the way her peers and even others before her approached music but she paved the way for an entirely new standard of excellence in music of several genres. (Didn't mean to be long winded lol) but there is no comparison in my opinion.

I thank God that she taught me a lesson. We can be anointed and be so powerful but, you can't play with the lord's grace. He gave her her reputation back after she prayed I will never go back and then she did. 😢 She taught me a lesson 😢
