I was just telling my 16 year old son when I was his age I discovered Christian artists through youth group and going to a New Zealand Music Festival called Parachute in the 1990s. I heard Kenny Marks for the first time at Parachute and really enjoyed his music. I'm saddened to only read now that he has passed on and I find myself searching for his songs so I can reminis of my youthful days singing along to his music. So thankful for the stories he told through his songs. God bless you Kenny Marks.
I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. I don't upload a lot on RU-vid anymore. I mainly wanted my Christian Music VHS tapes to be remembered. I saw him once in the late 80's at a little cafe in Manitoba. It was just him and hi guitar with cassette music tracks.
Another song that i thought was forever lost, and so many years later it stands right in front of me. The power of prayer is still very powerful, and the message that this brings is the hope that God will answer the prayers of those who believe in him, who trust in him, who has their faith in him, and who are trying to make a connection to him. Jesus is still worth praying to and is always willing to save and answer. To my surprise, Kenny Marks is no longer among us.....but he is in a much better place and still singing from his soul. Thank you for serving the Lord. I will see you again.....

Another Friday Night and Fire Of Forgiveness are my two favorite Kenny Marks albums. Saw him in concert back in the early 90's. He is certainly missed.

Beautiful video of a beautiful song. Yes, I also always thought that Kenny Marks was underrated. He recorded some awesome songs always aimed mostly at the youth of today! Thank God for Kenny Marks and his songs which are still as great today as when he first recorded them. God bless him so much.
