When Dolph was first rising in the rap game he came up in a world in which a lot of the artists were signing, and a lot of them at the time signing to Gucci mane, for example for a lil he had contracts for migos, young scooter, young thug at the time even, peewee longway. Dolph came up with all them if you payed attention to him for the bulk of his career he started getting his bigger name around when Gucci shined a spot light on him, however Dolph was bold enough to believe in him self and not sign no contract even with his friend Gucci, later in his career even denied a 20 million dollar deal, pretty legendary if you ask me of an individual to believe in them self like that and then get the success they were chasing. And then as he evolved and hip hop evolved he stayed true to his own sound thus creating his own lane his own signature style which even you can tell he influenced his own artist key glock because the flows they have cultivated together you know when you’re listening to them it’s authentic and true to them not like anybody else, not copying anybody. Glock would even tell you himself that without Dolph there is no glock so we can thank him for that too. And just for being a kind person in hip hop alone without any other contribution I just mentioned like giving fans money that got kicked out of school for playing his music, letting a fan have one of his Lamborghinis and then when he found out she was selling it instead of getting mad he said “get paid”. I’m not sure about for you, but for me Dolph has made some very motivational music for me over the years that have actually helped me push through things in life and he has inspired me. So I’m not being disrespectful either but respect my words because I feel Dolph is a legend, you might think otherwise and we can agree to disagree, but as a hip hop fan I’ve watched him come up as an artist and appreciate his contribution for the culture and for being a real one, I wasn’t aware of all the great things he did for his community.
