Kenny Scarf was a young man in 1980's NYC and a contemporary of Warhol, Haring, Basquiat, Debbie Harry, Joey Arias, and Klaus Nomi. Must have been a pretty amazing scene.
I met Keith at Paradise Garage dance club. I wrote him a letter and he wrote me back and drew me a picture. He invited me to his studio on B’Way. I got there. He buzzed me up. We greeted each other. He was working. I sat and watched. We didn’t say much. We just made conversation our ours eyes. Little glances and smiles. We promised to see each other again. I bid farewell. I think we were falling in love.....I never found out because he went to heaven. I still have my card and picture he sent me. I’ll always call Keith my boyfriend 😘 I’m 58 years young now. Wow time .....but my visit with Keith has had a memory on my heart ❤️ that I will always have with me. I love you Keith 🔥❤️🎈☄️⭐️🌹🕊💐💥🎊🌷🌺🌸⚡️🌼🌻🙏🏽✨⚡️🙂😏😌😉🙃🙂😇😍🥰😘
Kenny Scharf always seems a little too quick to take credit for things, or at least place himself in the centre of influence. But he seems very sincere here. Thanks for uploading, I enjoyed it. How can Pharrell look like that at 42!
