There is no race going against each other as this isn’t a war and there are no racial sides to pick, that mentality only divides. You can support whoever you want, I never told you how/not to. His race is irrelevant, his music and character speaks for him, he is not defined by his skin color. There are and have been racist people, similar to how there are and have been loving and peaceful people, it is wrong and factually incorrect to base the actions of a few and generalize them for an entire race of people. Assuming you wouldn’t like that being done to you, it wouldn’t be fair to do it to others. The genre isn’t “least welcoming” if his music rocks and helps people feel better, etc. he’ll gain a following. If you want to have that “fellow [person of my race] man/woman” tribal mentality that’s on you, I don’t and won’t think that way. I’m not clueless and that did not sound idiotic. All races matter, as all races are important to those both in and out of them. The “there are only 2 races” mentality is backwards as well, there are several places in the country where interactions are not like that. You may be speaking from experience, hatred, hurt, etc. but that’s not how the world is now, especially with so many people pushing “diversity and inclusivity” down everyone’s throat. The world is welcome to many (not all), but many areas are improving and I will be told life is one race versus the other. I will not be brainwashed into thinking that, as that’s not who I am. Anyone can make this kind of music, anyone can be a murderer and anyone can be racist/ignorant. I stand by what I said. His race is irrelevant, if his music has heart and is something he’s proud of, that’s all that matters. There are others who may try to make it a race issue/“celebration”. That mentality can be seen as a product of social conditioning (from many areas), art shouldn’t be based on the skin color of the person making it (unless the artist intended that to be the focus), he did not say “look at me and my skin tone, I’m making this music”. He’s doing what he wants (maybe even loves) and people making it into a virtue signaling race issue are strange to me. Thankfully I’m sure he will continue his musical career, regardless of what people say even, if he were purple.
