A close up video of the organ. Playing roll #13061 Tune 8: " When You're A Million Miles From Nowhere but You're One Little Mile From Home" and Tune 9: "I Want A Daddy Who Will Rock Me to Sleep".
I realy like how you showed the inside of the organ at 0:40! Plus Im going to Kennywood on thursday to record some more of the organ. because I was at Opening Day It got jammd.
Thanks bro! Right now the organ has rolls #13208 and #13057 (two songs from Kennywood memories are on that roll), so you will get great recordings. I'll be there again on August 2
I went to Kennywood on my summer break of 2017 on my first big "antique expedition." It was amazing! It was a late birthday gift for me, since we go on vacation mainly in July away from home. Now, the one in 2016 wasn't as big, but I got to go to Lake Winnie the day before my birthday :D The carousel was celebrating its birthday as well... it was 100 years old! Also, the carousel and band organ in my town called the Kingsport Carousel was opened either a day before my birthday or a day after it. It's a special "present" that will last hopefully a life-time. (Ooh, I almost forgot! A nice ride-op at Kennywood told me: "Fanatics like you are the reason these carousels and band organs are still alive today." I was smiling for the entire ride! Also, he gave me a piece of an old roll!! My trips were exciting.) +Wurlitzer 153 Thanks for giving me the website for the Wurlitzer rolls! I can't wait to check it out! -
Thats cool how you can see the inside of the organ from the top of the cabinet! Looks like the base drum is broken because I can hear the trumpets that accompany the base drum percussion.
