Kenobi - EFAP Reaction Hyperlight Reel 

“What did you bring me?” Has to be my favorite gag so far.

Yet another Star Wars show billed as being about a popular character only to make him look like a fool and instead actually be about some new lady. And weirdly competent child Leia

"I am not your failure, Obi Wan." The next line SHOULD have been "I am, your only success." Instead, Anakin contradicts himself! The first time they fight he says "I am what you made me." Then now he says "You didn't kill Anakin, I did." Anakin's "death" is what made Darth Vader, and now Anakin is just taking all the blame and guilt off Obi Wan by insisting it was purely who he was, not anything Obi Wan did or didn't do.

The guy who wrote, or did the teleplay for all 6 episodes is also responsible for such gems as The Flash, Transformers Rise of the Beasts, King Arthur Legend of the Sword and our favorite... Army of the Dead! This guy is a blight on Hollywood.

What does not make any sense about this show is that instead of Bail hiring a bounty hunter (let's say Boba Fett) to get Leia back, they browbeat, perhaps, one of the most wanted men in the universe, Obi Wan, to get her back even though he is, obviously, a shell of his former self. Not only does this risk getting Obi Wan killed, it also seriously risks Bail's entire family ans well as Luke and the rest of the extended Skywalker family. I know this has to happen to get the plot moving, but what a stupid decision.

When Obi-Wan is climbing into the hatch to avoid the troopers in the hall, if you pause the show at the 15 minute, 33 second time mark, you can clearly see Obi-Wan's entire leg still hanging out of the hatch, and the Stormtroopers are in the frame. There is no way they could have missed him, even wearing an early 80's plastic helmet costume with dark-tinted eyeholes so they look black from the outside (like my mother owned and used to wear to scare us when we were little). Assuming that actual military gear would have better visibility is only sensible (Luke couldn't see, because the gear was too big for him, so the helmet did not sit properly on his head, and he was not trained on the equipment). It's not even that the troopers could not see Obi-Wan because they were out of frame, it's that the direction was that bad.

The Prequels Montage at the beginning could quite easily have been recapped with an opening crawl.

The way they make the stormtroopers fight makes me wonder how the empire ever won a battle

Leia is so mobile it's a shame she forgot to use her speed in episode 4 no way the empire would have been able to capture her! The little fiend can vanish in a blur

ya know... I never quite noticed it before but at that part where the inquisitor stops her to talk about kenobi, literally have a character explaining her motivations to her... that absolutely bugs me

Vader's base being on Mustafa, has been established in what Disney wrongfully made uncanon. Disney did not come up with this, they don't come up with anything remotely interesting. And Vader's base is on the planet he melted because he's a Sith, they are stronger the more angry and distressed they are. basically the planet pisses him off, so he lives on it to stay pissed off.

1:27:55 What's really funny is that this show was the perfect opportunity to see how much Vader has changed (moveset, fighting style, and attitude) compared to how Obi-Wan is more stuck in the past and emotionally compromised than Vader. The first fight between them could show how Obi-Wan won't be able to beat him twice with the same fighting style. Vader would obviously have practiced and built his new fighting style around his previous defeat. And that's just the choreography. The conversation they could've had would make the fight even better. It's so easy to make a brilliant callback and show character development with the fight alone. But no, we get "I am what you made me!"

2:13:23 is so hilarious, the clip he chose to use to show what was going on with Obi-Wan while he was not "saving her and her friends"

Light saber blades look thick and wide, but that's just the glow. When you stab something with them the hole it makes is only like 1/1000 the diameter of a needle. That's why everyone but qui gon keeps surviving stab wounds

It’s depressing the way they treat Obi Wan in this show. Instead of being an introspective journey alongside Qui Gon with the training yoda gave him, we get fucking ‘Tarla’ as some kind of mentor figure. I also hate the way they just call him old man all the time. The writers at Disney have no reverence for this legacy character, or just older people I guess, that we all care so much about.

What makes me sad about this show isnthe fact that the beginning section on Tatooine was actually decent. It could have been expanded upon and the show could have been more low-key. It would have been like Legends Ben Kenobi with the interplay between Lars and Ben and seeing Ben's new life whike he also has his doubts, like Fringy said. It would have been so much better, and it might have worked out. But nope, Disney couldn't help themselves with adding a character to steal the spotlight and add ridiculous action that makes no sense and looks like shit.

This show is so bad. If it wasnt for the budget no one would be fooled into taking it seriously. Take away the high quality cameras and people would see this for the fan fiction that it is. This kind of acting and writing makes me think the actor and writer strike deserve to not get what they want. Let them starve.

The Path isn't the Rebel alliance, nor is it the proto-rebel alliance, they are not the same thing as The Path. Also, Vader having a castle on Mustafar isn't a recent addition.

Obi-wan that show that makes you wonder whether Disney knows the phrase less is more. Like after this there is no way if these events are canon that Luke and Obi-wan would have stayed undiscovered after that. Like for example when he reaches the first planet in search of Leia, its already over. All it would take for an investigation to figure out where he came from is to look up ships arriving during a certain time period. We know they have ship manifestos now and he clearly didn't smuggle himself there as we see him getting on a ship with other people. So you're telling me that Vader or the empire at large for the next ten to twenty years couldn't find that info? This is why I hate writers trying to fill in blanks they don't need to. It's beyond stupid. Would be a Shrek prequel for how he found the swamp. Do we seriously need to know that?

I understand hating the choreography I truly do, but Vader doesnt need GOOD choreography. The dude's entire premise is initmidation and BRUTE STRENGTH. He beats people down and just overpowers them with either saber or the force. He doesn't need good choreography with twirls and flourishes, now literally every other saber fight is literally the most disappointing thing in the world but yea. Disney sucks as well, give George Lucas Lucasfilm back please

They point out that Vader's voice sounds weird it's because they're using an AI replicator sanctioned by the James Earl Jones estate to use his voice forever. Its the right voice but it still sounds off. They should just hire someone talented.

once Princess Leia is 18 she's a woman . that logic doesn't really make sense in Star Wars because they have different laws.😂😂so from a simple biological point of view she would be a Woman by 16 because that's the end of puberty for most females no matter the world u live in. not to mention Luke and Leia are probably not even human ITS NOT EARTH. if they didn't die in Battle they would probably have a lifespan of about 200 years so adulthood would legally start at 70 😂😂
