I thought the video was good and I hope Kenshi 2 answers more of the things we don't know. I think the holy nation rose after an apocalypse kind of like a phoenix rising from the ashes concept. What I'm thinking is that the world of Kenshi got blasted so far back in terms of technology and history that these weapons that were used are actually what Chirtin is. Okran could be the light of nuclear blast, and Narko could be what happened after to society. Maybe the founder described what happened this way. I don't know.

I think their religion is actually just a story of the duality of their history with the skeletons. Okran and Narko(Okran spelled backwards). Two opposites. Skeletons helped man reach the heights they got to in the 1st empire and then also destroyed them. Catlun and tin fist created the 2nd empire as an attempt to help humans after what the skeletons did originally, but then catlun saw the evil in humans and culled them again. Tin fist split off from catlun and continued to try and help humans ever since. I think okran and narko are just metaphorical figureheads for a story, but the holy nation doesnt know that.

I really think that Skeletons had skin, It makes a lot of sense, if they were part of society people would have made them look like them, as Synths from Fallout 4. Newer versions would look closer to humans. That would explain skin bandints and skeletons being called like that, you just see the iron bones.
