A couple of days spent in the Hastings area, meant a trip to the KESR was on the cards. The 29th of March saw the Kent & East Sussex Railway operating on their Green timetable.
Locomotives:
BR Class 108 DMU - M51571 + M50971
Ex-SR USA Class S100 'Yanky' Tank - 30065
All footage filmed on Tuesday the 29th of March 2016.

Another excellent visit mate! So have to get back to that line at some point. Visited a number of years back and that 03 at the start was still in the same condition! :D Great on board footage of the line from the unit. Excellent to see 30065 was in action too! She sure sure making some clag! Great to hear her working on the climb too ;) Also will you be down Swanage next sat for the gala? Great work and thanks for sharing!

Nice video, I went there back in August 1992 long before trains started running to Bodmin. There is a video on here uploaded by my friend.

Nice one mate, everything looks very clean there. Must be quite an incline as the tank (which I think is ex-Watercress Line) had to push on a bit!

+VehicularBrit The USA tank you are thinking of is one of the two Yugoslavian Railways tanks that were converted to British USA Class specifications. Brought to the Watercress Line which are now at the Shillingstone Railway Project and 30065 has always been at the Kent and East Sussex Railway.

Cheers mate. They sure do keep most of the stock in decent condition. The climb is fairly steep, so you do get some nice thrash.
