Brilliant video Sidders, you revived some great memories for me; I used to love a visit to the sands of Viking Bay when I lived in Kent. Sorry, couldn't help a smile when that wave caught you all. Thanks very much for sharing with us.

Once, when my wife and I were going to walk from Dumpton Gap to Ramsgate I said I would just check the tide times first on my phone. I confidently exclaimed the tide must be going out, when in fact it was coming in, SUPER FAST! Basically the tide timetable I got was just an example of one, and not the actual table for the day... Now I am really careful about ensuring I check all the details. On that day we ended up running back to Dumpton and just made it, albeit with wet feet! It is scary though.... Nice video btw!! 🙂
