Honey, you're reading too much into this LOOOL Her behavior was very peculiar/out of the ordinary as no one would normally do that. So of course he would remember it in a detailed manner. Peculiar events stick in any human's brain well because it isn't something they're used to seeing. Such events will especially stick if it embodies your impression of another. It has nothing to do with being female or male or about caring or not.

Kento talking about Tao, talking about something she did that was so weird but he found amusing about her like he likes her, and Tao giggling and smiling at what Kento is saying like she likes him too.
I am convinced he had a crush on her back then. I mean how could you not? Tao is so pure and sweet, you just instantly admire her. I hope AIB helps bring them together.
kento even remembered about their playful bickering on their 1year age difference on an interview 5years ago coz that moment became a long term memory to him given on what kind of thinking kento has being a tennen kid and is only interested on old civilization, aliens and space conspiracies🤣, he's kinda absent minded on interviews alot of times(sleep deprived kid 😭) but glad that interview with tao about their age left a huge impact on him 🤣

Correct me if I'm wrong. They have been acted together in the 3 same dramas/movie. Mare, Orange and Alice in Borderland. Out of these 3, I really ship them when they acted in Mare. I really adore their journey life in this drama. From kids to married couple and become parent with twins. They portrayed as a realistic couple in Mare.
Tao give vibe she will dating his co star or non showbiz man, because her chemistry and her interaction with her co star in her drama or movie like Kento or satoh takeru . Really suprise to find she actually dating a vocalist member from Exile tribe grup which literally my bias in Exile tribe. Like she and Kento get pair for 5 Times or more , but she fall in love to someone who only get pair one time with her. As ryota fans i am literally blank after hear the news because really have no idea about them dating all along, and even married and have baby together 😂
