I believe he is still out there. I live a few miles from exit 49 and pretty shaken up as we frequently take the interstate to get to London as that's our nearest place to get groceries/shop. It definitely is some incredibly tough terrain. I just hope they find this man so we can all have peace of mind.

The texts to his ex (if they are to be believed), the finding of the weapon.... sounds like he would have laid down his weapon after the shooting and walked off the cliff... But, that would have been too easy...
The neighbors said he had a AR-15 when he threatened them and the police says he bought the AR-15 that morning so he had 2 riffles which could mean he left one by his car to throw the police off and has the other riffle with him ???? Which is probably why he also bought so much ammo??
@@jamietwigg5152 if you go back and watch the neighbors interviews they both said he went into his house and came back out with a AR-15 which means he had 1 at home then he bought another AR-15 that he used in the shooting. Which means he has 2 AR-15s so he could very likely have the other AR-15 on him and the rest of the ammo on him
@@gamma5180 They didn't show up to court, people lie. His charges were by 1 neighbor not 2. Police have said he had 1 AR in his name. They also said it's possible he has a pistol.
I live here in london im maybe 3 minutes from where this happened. I dont feel like he is in the area. If he were close by dead or alive the dogs wouldve picked up on his scent by now. If you take the time after the shootings occured and the time it took police to arrive on the scene ...that wouldve given him time to get out and possibly get a ride from the interstate to a different area bc, at the time nobody knew he was the actual shooter. So it wouldve been pretty easy for him to get clear before they arrived.
Remember Cavalcante didn’t end up going very far. Sometimes they are closer than we think. Also important to check by water - lakes, rivers, etc. If he planned this he probably went prepared to live out in the wilderness, but will need to be near water. He left the firearm he used, but he’s probably got another one on him. Unless he did himself in.
Cops needs to stop saying everyone is in fear some may be most ppl here keeps their weapons on them all the time most citizens here is not scared we just let the police do their thing unless someone does it for them if he comes at someone else
You may have to speak for yourself on that one. Elderly people, single mothers, and many others are scared. This man could try to hide in anyone's home.

@@CLEMIN3M I'm elderly and am not afraid. Shootings took place less than 2.5 miles from my house. A report 3 hours ago thinks he's even closer. Helicopters and drones were all over the place. Now it's almost too quiet.

Community but for the families I know I took place like 20 to 30 minutes away from my house which is not a long distance truthfully too close for my cover if you really want the truth and yes I'm one of those prepper type people I have children now I have no choice but to have everything set up for their safety night vision cameras on every corner of my house and alarm systems and so forth put everyone around me has camera systems thank God and alarms and someone is always home so it would take one hell of a maneuvering to get around everything around this place lol locked and loaded and went out and help the police search folks in these parts of Kentucky game scared of s*** like that. Don't get me wrong I know our state police or some bad asses I've seen them do it many many times before and they always got who they was looking for it don't matter what they had to do and I know that place is a freaking mess cuz you can tell by looking at it that it would take hours just to even make it a mile into it but if they cannot get in at night then they need to send the military with their night vision and you should have had this done on day two but since we're in the smaller parts of Kentucky I guess it's not main priority but the point I'm trying to make about all this is he even knows that are elderly people is not just going to allow him to come on to their property because they will blow him back off of it and everyone is going to come together to protect the kids here no matter if they like police or not they're going to stand by him just to get rid of some piece of s*** like that and I can guarantee you that someone will spot him and if the police cannot find him and he ends up on someone's property talking about guarantee you that the elderly will be the first ones to fight his ass so I appreciate people like you and you stand tall and you stand your ground that is your right and when it comes to someone who just done something like this the whole community is behind you including the surrounding counties so you just stay safe and be aware of everything cuz this is only going to bring more attention to criminals knowing that one's alluded on this long just be prepared for anything or anyone God bless you
I would think one would escape the area via a river. Although the caves have water in them, I would more expect a river escape. Last place people look and a place dogs can't track. I don't think he would still be in the area. I would look in Tennessee.

I live just outside of London in East Bernstadt. I believe he is still in the forest. From reports on the news he had just bought camping gear. They found a sniper's nest with food. I would not be surprised if he has a burner phone. If you have heard anything about him from friends he grew up with this is a challenge for him living in the woods and surviving for days even weeks. 🤷♀️

I've been trying to stay up to date with this case, but today, I've missed everything (Wednesday). From Saturday evening through Monday, after each press conference, all I could hear is the same 'dimn thang' from the reporters. Repeated questions after questions, ugh! Sunday evening on WKYT, that was the best press conference to date. Answering every and all questions that the reporters were asking... there I am yelling at the TV, asking this question, and that question....

I live between exit 41 and 39 just because you see helicopters flying overhead lots have been Army but we’re all in the same area as St. Joseph Hospital.
So if he was charged with threats and on bond, he couldnt posses. Then, if he was convicted he could have been barred during probation. No need for new legislation. They want to lower the bar to disarm people, that is unacceptable

@@batgirl4766 the lady said the legislation would have prevented him from possession. On what grounds? An allegation? That isn't how due process works. Being arrested for a crime is not a conviction. Beating a case means you are "innocent" and all of your rights are intact.
