Beautiful car! Love the dove gray velour interior! The first brand-new car I bought was a 1986 Caprice Classic two-door landau coupe that I bought when the 1987''s were coming out. It rode like a Cadillac! It was white with burgundy velour interior. No vinyl roof. The transmission went in 1989, but it was still covered under the original manufacturer's warranty, so it was replaced by the dealer at no charge, because I only had 35,000 miles at that point.
My favorite is the 86 landau! I had an uncle with an 86 4 door and another uncle with an 87. The one with the 87 live in La Puente CA. He had bought it new and in 1998 he rebuilt the trans and dropped a 350 in it. I helped him adjust the kick down cable on the carb and then took it for a spin. The car had some great get up. The next day it was stolen from in front of his house and they found it stripped a month later; he never even did the first oil change on the new 350.
Love Caprices but A Ls. Brougham to me is a like a wanna be Cadillac. Im not knocking them but seem like the ones with tops are easy finds seem like it
