It looks like you have a capacitor added to your nano board along with your deviation control along with both buttons, the board and the display itself. Are there any other components required?
on the 7950 - This unit will connect to the TO, Ground, FO and ST. I will look for my connections. But if you see the Kenwood TU-79 schematic the connections should make sense. Just need to select the tone on the proper selected F tone # and external device will transmit on that.
