Thanks for sharing. that is an interesting feature. FYI: If you use the 2000's SKY COMMAND function, one has the option of silencing the HF band (which prevents a lot of issues). When cross-banding, no band has priority, so if you get a loud signal that breaks squelch on HF, your HT won't be able to transmit and you're stuck listening to white noise, etc.. With SKY COMMAND, your HT has is running duplex, and can listen to, and shut down the HF transmission. So no need to set the squelch and hope signals cleanly break it (a hassle on SSB). And since the HT is in duplex when using SKY COMMAND, you can key up, even while the HF is transmitting back to your HT. I've used it from my Base TS-2000X and talked to Australia via my HT from my mobile 2000X. LOTS of fun. Thanks for sharing an interesting video, and teaching us something new. 73 de N6YYO
