I started playing dirt rally in 2020, discovered your channel, fallen in love with the tutorials, tips, your gameplay, i remember your goodbye to your ford too. This channel and dirt series is reminding me of covid times, back then i was really depressed, wasnt going to a university yet, but these times do somehow feel nostalgic. I wanted to tell you i appreciate the content even if it isnt consistent. I hope you are doin good Skyrex. o7
You make THE best Setup Guides. I do not copy/paste you settings, making my own based on a lot of you tube videos, somehow you´r explanation and calm logic works like nothing else, making me understand indstead of beeing confuesed, guessing and copy/paste. Thank you, for you great work. Wish you a happy new year and all things good to you and your´s.
Hey great videos. Helps that I relate to your way of looking at the game and setups. I’m a WRC noob so coming across your videos when game launched helped me no end. Only reason I got game was cause EA gifted it is I’m a “Champion’ at EA answers and normally a F1 sweat. But I’ve all but lost hope in F1 23. So WRC was perfect timing and with your help i don’t I nose dive into so many trees or fly off mountains. Post links to your channel on EA when players need guidance. Was really having a blast then patch 1.40 happened and I’m on PS5. Kenya is the devil screen tearing or not. I just lose the road so easily here
I have also been toying with asymmetry on some of the more nervous RWD cars (911, Escort Mk2) with good results. Stiffer rear keeps the drive wheels compliant while still being able to steer better up front, and it is easier to adjust line with throttle and less likely to spin out. This is mostly for the more technical, slower gravel.
This has been so confusing since the first video about EA Wrc setups: You say that dampers to the left is stiff (eg fast bump -5 means it’s max stiff, slow bump -5 the same, rebound -5 is fast rebound and +5 is slow rebound etc.) But why do I feel like the car is much more soft and flowing when I use - instead of + in those sliders ? Is it really turned around ? Did dr2.0 had those opposite? Ps: thank you for your videos man!
dampers are never stiff. They can only be fast or slow. The - direction makes them faster, the + direction makes them slower (they damp more on the plus side).
