Kenyan citizens hold protests in Nairobi to reject the country's proposed 2024 finance law. Kenya scraps most new tax hikes as hundreds protest. Thousands of protesters stormed Kenya's parliament Tuesday to protest tax proposals, burning part of the building, sending lawmakers fleeing and drawing fire from police in unrest that the president vowed to quash. Several people were killed.
