I love Mr Wanyama, when I was MBA student at The University of Nairobi kisumu campus, Mpesa lady at megacity decided to reverse Ksh 1000 after 45min while I attending my classes which was on Friday evening, reason being the money I deposited was fake, after class went and confronted the lady coz I had just withdrawn the money from the ATM machine within the mall, then the lady calls an officer who happened to come from her community, that's how I was locked up at kondele police station,so Mr Wanyama came he looked in to the case and said that it was total nonsense, and the lady was just part of the syndicate of people conning innocent people within kisumu, that's how I was discharged from the police cell,coz my account statement showed I had over one million, I withdrew one thousand which I deposited which happened within 3 minutes, my wallet was only having Ksh 200 of 50's, I was working for international NGO,after being released. Instructed my lawyers and went for the lady and the business 🤜🤛 Mr Wanyama Wisdom at its best

Wanyama was and still is a big name in Kisumu. He was known for single handedly going after criminals to enforce law and order. He even could warn suspects to change or next time he comes for them he won't be having discussions. He never asked for bribes. Got so much respect for him. He is a true hero. Honestly he brought sanity in kisumu, not once but in both instances he was the OCS at kisumu central station & later in kondele.. Wanyama is truly a real man of the law. The other thing I noticed is how he keeps on handling his cell phone, he keeps on handling it like a radio call... It's in his blood!!!! Asante for your humble service to the nation & people of Kenya. I wish the government got him a job as a security consultant, he's not that old plus looks healthy, alert and sharp....

Big up to Wanyama. This is the first cop i have seen retired peacefully without baggages and haunts from their past. Many retired cops can't even face their neighbours let alone the community and mostly die within a few years of retirement.

Very straight foward officer.He can still serve in our government if appointed and given the chance.

I remember the assassination of Shem Kwega. Was in Form 3 or 4 pale Kisumu School. The guy was shot in broad daylight, and rumors was that it was a political assassination. He wanted to go for MP Kisumu Central. Anyway, I've finally put a face to the name Wanyama. Anybody who grew up in Kisumu knows the name.

Some people you know their name before you even know their face or who they are.

Once met him as an OCS Karuri on his upbeat, and it's true he's a diligent and disciplined ex-officer. The crime in the area went way down!!!
