Times really change. During our times we tried a dance group. We were then a few girls from jiji "Nairobi". When we were discovered, we were summoned to the staffroom and subsequently to the school parade. A serious offence. We were beaten and given punishment of uprooting tree stumps for allegedly spoiling our fellow students. And our talents were suppressed perpetually.

That was so unfortunate. I hope all schools encourage showcasing talents today. Schools should never be about book-work alone, but several other things like talent. That's what makes a school complete
