The accents aren't about music. Actually most northerners will sing what you'd consider good English. When they speak, heavy accents. Case in point, the Beatles.
I always wanted to take a long walk in Winchester in the English country side. To visit the great Norman fortresses and castles and the quaint village towns. Edinburgh has hardly any black people and is pretty homogenous. Represent us well there.
