😢 i simply reject this bill. Our leaders are not for us. Never have been. There is honestly no solution. Jobless since 2021 sitting on a Journalism degree, trying to make money online via freelancing and still the government wants to tax that? Freelancing and content creation is so hard I'm depressed every day. It's only God I'm looking to for help.

I concur with these 2 statements " Just because someone is older doesn't necessarily make them wise, because even fools grow old" and "Kenya is meant to be an independent nation but we are not free" The political elite and those in positions of power in ministries etc do not care about Kenyans. I think these trips our president is taking is making him panic as to how much Kenya should improve and he wants to accomplish all that while he is in presidency. Hence making haste and impractical decisions. those advanced countries have high taxation rates because the people do see how their tax is being put to to good use. free education. free healthcare for the common people.etc Our president has the wrong advisors. You cannot impose high tax yet we are still dealing with critical issues such as hunger and poor healthcare systems already. I would like to see more Gen Z's in parliament. I am happy that Gen Zs are taking up this. It is important that each and everyone of us takes responsibility because every political decision affects us in one way or another. I have a few things to weigh on: 1. The speakers should appreciate that the other generations fought for something and that is what took us here including the freedom of speech 2. We should be happy that politicians/ "opposition" can sit aside and allow wanjiku take charge. By the way, Kenyas constitution do not recognize opposition but MINORITY & MAJORITY 3. This finance bill/budget is punitive in many ways and we can push the government to continue using the 2022/2023 budget instead of this new adulterated one. More businesses will close down, no manufacturing will happen locally and poverty will rise so high 4. As for Mr. President, you have the Kenyan priorities upside down, lack empathy and working for Kenya only 20%, 80% for the West. We now know better
