Model, talent manager, and motivational speaker, Letoya Johnstone David is a transgender woman who lives in Kenya. David recently met with reporter Anne Ngugi to share her story of facing harassment and bullying as the LGBTQI community continues to seek acceptance in the country.

Letoya, you are so brave for standing up for human rights in your country. I hope people will realize that the future is acceptance. Love your denim outfit. I wish you could live somewhere safer like San Francisco but it would be hard to leave your home. Why can't people just leave other people be? 🌈
