He's one of my favorites on the floor alongside Kohei. The power in his tumbles!

Well deserved! Absolute craziness! To someone that dosent understand the sport of gymnastics, this might not look that spectacular bc he dosent do any high flying flipping elements but, im here to tell you, this young man has the most insanely difficult set that anyone has ever seen!!! I just cant wrap my mind around this!! Wonderful! !

I'm sure like everyone else, you can't understand no more than what the commentator was helping everyone else understand.

Andrea Jimenez Right...I bet you won the Olympics straight from youtube doing a double layout on your keyboard into a full twist on your mouse. LOL!!!!

Lmao! Thats the stupidest insult I have ever seen in my entire life. Please my friend, try harder....dont insult yourself by leaving that as your final word. Im not quite sure why you try and start shit with ppl you dont know but if your going to do it, put your fucking back into it man! Lol

You are the true definition of an internet troll. Someone who's sole purpose is to seek out trivial topics to argue about or just to seek out no one in particular to argue with.

There is very little variation. Not a single double salto. I prefer to see double saltos also. Uchimura twisted a lot, but also did double saltos. There are also people who do double fronts and double backs with twists and in combination. I even prefer older floor routines like the ones Alexei Nemov, Grigory Musutin and Vitaly Scherbo did. They had many varied skills, beautiful style and mastery of everything. There was great flow and other elements such as flairs, splits, and balances.

hmmm i just dont understand why he retired so early, still very young.... he could easily win at least some more floor titles... I understand that people have different goals in life, but he trained so much and... he could just stayed around a bit longer.

His insanely hard routines were eventually gonna take a toll on his body, he's not at his best and has a dodgy ankle Plus his routine got nerved pretty badly by the new Code of Points so he barely has a difficulty advantage anymore

In Japanese MAG, you can't be just a long time specialist. Focusing on all around makes Japanese MAG a powerhouse and frequent team winner. But training all around also breaks him.

yeah, i wonder why. He could have stayed at least couple of years more. He could have won every single vault and floor competition with his twisting.

Too many twists and that's all he's good at. They should be required to do more and different elements to medal. No double flips at all? Ridiculous.
