I wish the Boks would all enter the field wearing Groucho Marx mustaches (discarded when the whistle blows). White deserves a comic parody of a comedic performer
The last time the ABs lost back to back tests was 2023 in the lead up to RWC losing by a record score to the boks and then pumped by the frogs in the opening match of the RWC …
Problem is he is competing with Kriel (the better one), DDA, Andre, Am, Moody, Willemse and even Pollard for centre spots. Whose place is he gonna take?
@@subbie5498 each to their own boet. Boet David Kriel to me is epic. I think he deserves a chance. Not to be on top of Jessie who has been crazy good. But he's young and I just think he deserves a chance. Think he might be injured though because I haven't seen him in the Bulls team
Z on 16m spitting facts. Rassie is like the Heath Ledger Joker in Batman when he breaks the pool queue in half and throws it down between two henchmen and says "I've only got space for 1 more". 4D.
I tip Aus to win this game. Nic White and Korrobeti on wing are going to make a huge difference. These two players always get under the Boks' skin every time they play. It's going to repeat again on Saturday.
The great thing about making big calls in the YT comments is if you are wrong you can easily avoid any reminder of it. 😂 But it probably will be a tougher game.
The people who thinks that muscle mass equals strength has never done proper powerlifting... And like the oaks before said, Victor Matfield was the same type of player
Keo and Zels … Perth IS Australia, the best city here. As a Saffer who’s raised a family here for 20 years it is the most liveable city in Australia and I won’t hear a word said against it … problem is the Australian bloody government considers it a poor cousin too 😉😉
Great podcast - simply a sad fact as a supporter - AB’s lost two in row at home 2022 to Ireland and 1998 to Boks and Australia - they remain the Mighty All Blacks but rugby is impossible to win every game
Come on guys the whining & complaining and negative tone intro about Perth et al was annoying. Lots happening in Perth incl. the DDP UFC fight, and a great opportunity for Rassie & Co to achieve their objectives. Lots to look forward to, and especially seeing this team trounce Auss. Perth is more like the Cape than Dbn🎉
We in for a stressful game again quarters, semi and final at wc winning by one now Russie does this to us thought we would win by 15 but looking at oz now a win by one would be ok. To many changes but Russie knows what he is doing
Rassie will go down as a Legend with a W, but with an L, he will be a "Fart-smeller" - I am praying for the former. Thus I hope we will B doin' da BreakDancing.....Go Boykeys!
Keo a friendly suggestion - that corrugated roof outside your window looks dull bro, please get your production staff to show something more pleasant look at. 😊
I laughed uncontrollably at the idea of someone popping an umbrella inside someone’s butt. When did Leon Schuster say that? The analogy is incredibly funny.😂😂😂😂
All Bkacks last lost back to back tests at home v Ireland in 2022 & then also lost back to back tests in 2023 at Twickenham v Boks then WC opener v France.
Fassi and Mapimpi to dominate, cant wait until they are unleashes. Hopefully Sacha and his backline puts them in position to unleash their line-breaking ability
Have you guys been to Perth? It’s hardly humid like Durban…more a dry heat. Anyway it’s pissing down on Saturday so scrappy game ahead but will suit our physicality
@@thenewlyreborngamer you think? or is that just not the cape town rich boys club getting a rugby show, with those white sneakers and markhams outfits. GBR SA also hi-jacked by another priviledged cape town dude. very cringe worthy. this is more real
Vic and Swys say julle praat stront. Brilliant young hungry guys in a well balanced 15 with a deadly bench and here you are Keo flailing on the cusp of old farterdom.😄
4:40 No Keo there's more than a sprinkling of us over here and I've met many who will never don the gold over the green, in fact most are vehemently against such a suggestion.
Agreed. Never seen any South Africans in Perth support the wallabies over the Boks. However, I do see quite a few support the Western Force in SR, even before RSA left the comp.
I disagree about Perthoria only having a sprinkling of South Africans. I hear Afrikaans spoken everyday at the office and in public! Most arrived in the last 5 to 10 years. - I’m an Aussie and will be at the game tomorrow night. The majority of bokke fans in the crowd will be Perth locals.
Rassie wanna give players some confident. Best coaches do that, pep does it often at man city. So, captain is nothing guys, I don't know why people put too much emphasis on captain. What matters is outcome of the game.
@@seloaneronald2462 playing for the Springboks should give you all the confidence you need, but the new guy should not be leading while there are more senior players like PSDT in the team. Why the rush for captaincy ? Give him some time, he needs to up his game a bit more and earn some respect.
4:35 In 2006 there were 19 000 South Africans in the Perth Metropolitan Area. In 2021 there were 40 000 South Africans in the Perth metro area, most South Africans arrived in the last 20 years. 10 000 South Africans arrived in just the last 8 years. I don’t know why you think we all arrived in the 70s.
Really... First comes the disrespect - the Aussie national team won't be able to beat our Boks 2nd string team. They're not even good enough to carry our jocks. Second, lay the seed of excuses just in case the Boks lose - it will be a disjointed Boks barbarian team that had never, ever, ever played together, so they may not click for the majority of the game. Third, the insult - Bok power will reign supreme and the unstoppable force that will be unleashed and victory will be obtained through brute force. All hail, The Bomb Squad. In them we trust. Fourth, the arrogance - our depth, our depth. our depth... Come on guys, it's the first round of the competition. Every team in the RC has lost one game this season, shit isn't that deep. 3 of the four teams contested the semi finals at last years RWC, so the comp is healthy. Can't you blokes give the Aussie's a little piece of respect and credit? Question, for the Aussies to score points against the Boks, they needed to have a two man advantage. That being the case, would it be fair to say, the Boks, Ireland and France can only beat an All Black team that's been reduced to 14 or in some cases 13 men for the majority of their games? Personally, I don't mind banter for the most part, and the analysis is good, but sometimes the commentary can come across as condescending and disrespectful.
What is this obsession with the World Cup? One bad game, bad ref or a bit of bad luck and you are out. It is about being the best side in the world month in and month out. Then the World cup looks after itself in any event. Its not as if we are starved of success in the World Cup! Or are we just a cup side?
This weekend we ,il see one of the best attacking performance ever. Boks to pile on points in second half....grant (9)manie (10)pollard centre and sacha to 15..and our front row....gonna be fire...
As an Irish fan I'd be delighted if that was still the last time they lost twice on the trot. But they actually lost at Twickers to Boks last summer, and then lost RWC opener to France.
I think each of the Bok players who have reached their peak, twice World Champions, should now each have an apprentice to pass on the skills and confidence, prepare them for handing over the reigns. The show must go on.
As somebody, I think an Australian, pointed out to me: rain. Rain is predicted in Perth, and rain slows down a team. Also makes things less predictable. I had a feeling of Boks by 20 with all the speed they've brought in... But... Rain.
Underestimating Joe Schmidt would be a grave mistake. I seriously think he is one of the better coaches in the world. A true student of the game. I do believe the Bok Barbarians will pull it off, but I don't think they'll overrun the Wobblies. I'll go for 28 - 22. 😉
Argentina dominated the ABs in the forwards. Those same forwards will be there this weekend and consequently I believe it will be a much closer game than expected.
I hope after watching that game, you see how silly your comment was about Perth not having South Africans.. Perth is full of South Africans, just listen to the crowd in the game, almost like a home game. The climate over here is also dry not humid like Durban.
I feel that if we are really building a rugby dynasty then we need a strong Women's team; Sevens back as consistent champions and the U20s winning world cups too.
Not a prediction but would love to see the wobblies ground down and when the game opens up for Manie to come on and run rings around them. And yes it rains in winter in Perth.Having lived there and couldn't wait to get out of the place.
The succession of players is important, but Rassie must also work on the succession of coaches after him. He needs to pick a successor, and a successor after him, and start teaching them and handing over the knowledge and the IP to what they have built up so far. He also needs to document the IP that they have built up. While it is in his head it is losable.
The only thing that may level this game is going to be the weather. 90% chance of heavy rain 🌧which could make it messy, but then we have the "mini bomb squad" on the bench to get into the trenches if need be. 💪🤜⚡
Nohamba is a good player but has terrible defence, one of the worst in SA in his position. Needs to work on that before coming anywhere near a Bok team.
Wobblies should be better in performance compared to the first game. They will still lose. But there will be more of a fight from them. I want them to do better. We need them to be better. I look forward to see how this pans out
