Okay, not gonna lie, when I heard the snippet they gave us in the album medley, I was kinda feeling underwhelmed by 'Galileo' and I found the b-tracks to be a lot more appealing on first impression. BUT I have to admit that 'galileo' gets a lot more addictive as time goes, even within the span of a first listen like this, I found the chorus to get more and more catchy, so much so that I finally got the appeal of it by the end of the song. It's definitely sweet and cute and they do that really well but I still do think that this song lacks a but of their earlier quirkiness which I thought was kind of their trademark. When I hear this song, I don't think of Kep1er if that makes sense. I got a tinge of TWICE X SNSD in here in terms of the melody and the aesthetic. I think the dance break might be the most Kep1er like part of the song actually. Other than that, I really enjoyed the aesthetic of the MV, the girls look absolutely gorgeous and the interactive artwork were super cool too and it's definitely one of their best MV to date with 'Giddy' for sure! Overall, good comeback but not groundbreaking either.
