​@@Sam-pt3qtit's the fandom perspective of the overworked workaholic Keqing that makes it work. I think most of us know that it's not accurate to how she is portrayed, but the fantasy is that this is a side that she'd only show Aether in a potential Aether-Keqing ship. It's nothing that hard to tell.

If she'd cry in front of Aether it would probably be a normal cry, and not reacting like a little kid who didn't get what she wanted. That's very unlike Keqing even if were talking about an Aether/Keqing intimate moment...

@@Sam-pt3qt Iunno man, getting a Rex Lapis funko pop sounds like a very childish thing to do. Not like it's the only reason, but that's one of the biggest reasons people see her as having a childish side to her.

@@justacatwithasadface2692 Actually she doesn't have a Funko pop. She has figurines of Rex Lapis which is not the same as a Funko pop. Also, buying figurines of your deity, is not a childish thing to do, since it's something actually normal in Liyue and Inazuma, where just walking through the streets u see stalls that sell figurines and other merch of your deity since it's something pretty common in those cities. Pretty sure many people in Liyue have Rex Lapis figurines and that doesn't mean they're childish. It means they respect and admire him, which is exactly what Keqing tells us in her voiceline. For people who venerate their god, buying merch is completely normal, and basically everyone in Liyue venerates Rex Lapis. Also, i'm pretty sure most people in the fandom don't see her as someone "childish", since her character is someone composed, quite serious, uptight, mature and hardworking. At least that's the impression it gives me, everyone i know who plays genshin, and what i pick up of the genshin community as well. Yes there are memes which don't show this, but that's exactly why they're memes. However in reality, everyone knows she isn't a childish character, but instead a very mature one, especially when compared to most characters.
