I'm from Fiji but of Indian descent. My dad always tells me that my granddad was from Kerala and when I see this, I feel I'm a part of this. My grandad is a catholic and that has been ours too but now I attend a Pentecostal church. But I am forever thankful to God for the knowledge of Him that flowed from my paternal side and it's still with us today. I always pray that one day, I will be able to visit Kerala, where God chose my ancestors to come from.
Syrian Christians in kerala were in India from Ad 52 onwards. They were christians even before christianity reaches europe. There traditions are purely in kerala style. @@ssam3826Is the idea of 'good family' not prevalent in your place? Good families mean the one having a legacy, culture, tradition, belief, and in almost all cases financial strength too. As simple as that.
@@ssam3826 I didn't say poor families are bad however financial capable ones are more good.Moreover in case of considering families for marriage everyone look for one that is financially stable enough to lead a comfortable life. They don't have to be filthy rich but FINANCIALLY STRONG. BTW who marrys into a very poor family to lead a happy life unless it is a love marriage and they are adamant. It's common sense. Big words are sweet only in words. When u enter real life it is bitter in taste and everyone would opt for sweet. It's just as simple as that.
