Hi to all my Hindu brothers and sisters, especially in Wayanad. I am Pakistani. I feel really sorry for people in Kerala village Wayanad for that horrible landslide that took away so many innocent lives with it and also wiped out the whole family members. It's so devastating that the survivors have to live with that sadness that they won't be able to see their family members anymore. Indian army and rescue teams deserve a big thanks who put there lives in danger to get the dead bodies and the survivors out of the mudslide. I want UN to send their help to rebuild the village as i know the Indian Government is already doing so much to provide aid for Wanyard. I also want Pakistan to send rescue teams and donations, keeping our country's differences aside. What can I do to send donation? May their souls rest in peace. Amen. Update: On 7/08/2024; I just donated money to the Government of Kerala Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund. Sorry, it took me a little longer to make sure that this portal actually belonged to the cheif minister and not to some person pretending to be the minister. Thanks so much for the patience.
@@sauravmondal4342 Hi Saurav. Thanks so much for your reply. I hope for the best and pray that Wanayad comes out of this crisis soon. Survivors, who lost their relatives become stronger for the sake of the rest of their family members. Indian Government needs to do more for these people to make sure they have three-time meals, clothes, and somewhere safe to live. Also, these people should be given some sort of financial help.

Thank you Indian military for the swift action on the rescue operations and building the bridge so quickly. Mr. Madhav Gadgil had predicted this years ago. He is responsible for the Gadgil commission report. While the landslides happened during the rains, it has happened because of the encouragement and illegal constructions on the mountains. These constructions trap the rainwater and don't let it flow and take its natural course. Most of these outbursts of water are from the water that has seeped into the mountains. The mountains under pressure cause these landslides. This is a man made problem. You will never find Adivasis or wild animals in such a situation because they pay attention to nature. Mr Gadgil had recommended to the Kerala Government and it's people to take action many years ago, but they paid no heed to this. In fact there were cases where we malayalees mocked him. Kerala has had landslides for at least 5 years in a row.

I have been here in yr 2001. Very beautiful place; as per my calculation at least 4000 to 6000 ppl might have vanished. The government is giving the wrong figures. It's very sad to see 👀 this devastation.

Absolutely true. Illegal cutting down of forest foliage, making flat land at the food hills and land mafia/ tourism mafia ,drugs mafia and illegal tourism and greediness of some for all in action while poor people pay the price ! Criminal politicians- Land mafia amass money and lead lavish life style in so called developed countries while poor people struggle in third world countries...and the politicians in these countries have the audacity to raise funds using these types of tragedies also ! Our company made all our employees (about 1 lakh employees in all) pay one day salary (US$50-100) last time and what happended to that ? It was not even voluntery but in a way forced donation - What planning was done to repeat of the tragedy ? We have to question ourself why why why this again?

@@PrajithMA To be informed when there was Kodagu landslide in 2018 after a fact check there was illegal mining in the mountains identified in deep inside the forest. Agree, there was record rainfall however western ghats should have enough strength to withstand. After looking into Google maps the forest area looks fishy . Maybe forest fires or any hidden mining activities. High time for proper investigation. Justice for every innocent who lost their life.
Climate change is a major issue. What can we do about the population? India is the World's most populated country. Our land is less. That's the main issue. China has population and land. We have less land with more population. So human encroachment to forest areas is very rampant. Can you pls give a solution for it without being too critical at these difficult times?
In ecologically sensitive zones mandatory one child or two child policy per each male or each female throughout their life needs to be implemented. Ecologically sensitive zones can’t have too much population. And using ecologically sensitive zones for tourism, for agriculture, for quarrying is crime towards nature. You can’t make everything like a city or like fields in UP with too much agriculture. Not everything can be there for human civilisation to grow. Humans needs to accept that quickly or nature will itself make them understand. This Earth is not created just for human civilisation to explode.
I wish to spread this message to everyone in the world: let us give back to nature and not hurt it. In today's world, we see many wealthy individuals investing money in tourism. While it is good that tourism is growing, if these individuals are earning money by utilizing the beauty of nature, they should give something back to nature and protect it. We should never cause any harm to nature. I believe that nature, in its own way, may take revenge at some point. If our actions, done without thought, are destroying nature, the consequences will eventually affect us. Our goal should not always be to double paper currency and increase our wealth, but rather to protect nature. Nature has given us everything; clean air, water, food, and beautiful landscapes. We should be able to reciprocate the love and protection it has given us. Therefore, let us participate in environmental conservation and do everything we can, both big and small, to protect it. I am just a normal person, sharing my thoughts. However, I hope this message reaches each and every one of you and that we can bring about a change. Love nature, protect it, and give back to it.
Defrastration, if you cut the tress this will happen, tree roots gives grip to soil. People should understand nature. Hills and land relevant to hills are given only for tress and forest. Not for the ppl.

Did you know?.When landslide happened, a woman and her family flooded into the feet of a wild elephant. When elephant saw them elephant didn't harm and also the woman was telling in news channel that the elephant was crying when landslide happened. The elephant stay there with them till the morning to protect them from any other wild animals 😢.They also have intelligence and emmotions👍
