I know this is an older video, but I recently found your channel and already adore you! I am shall we say a "mature" woman and my hair has become quite dry - although I've just discovered it also has developed a lovely wave. I finally tried Bain Satin 1 and Lait Vital Conditioner . . . and after my first use I AM AMAZED! My hair feels so nourished, soft and not frizzy. I was a long time Moroccan Oil Hydrate user but will be changing to Kerastase! Thanks so much for your wonderful videos and recommendations!

Im not sure if it’s the water in my house, or this shampoo does not work like I expected it too. I hear so many good things about it but my hair feels dryer with the Ban Satin one, and I’m still getting knots :( I’m bummed because I spent nearly 200 dollars of the entire set….im disappointed. I might as well just stick to pharmacy shampoo/conditioner

If you are using the newly reformulated line then it's probably the products. The older line they replaced were amazing especially the Magistral line.

Hi!! Love your reviews, they are really good to understand. However I do have a question. I shaved me head 3 months ago because my hear was completely damaged. Now it grows back super healthy and it is super super thick. But it is not dry at all. Which should I use? Since it is thick, but not dry. I was thinking about Bain satin 1, but not sure if I should use the conditioner or 1 of the masks..Or would you recommend another line? Could you maybe help me? :)

Mike, my hair is soft when touched but it's So dry!!! (with a bit of fall out). I have watched a lot of your videos of yours, I can't choose to chose this or the fortifying one (the green one). My scalp is oily but the rest of my hair is not.

both Kerastse and LP are owned by Loreal however they are not the same brand. Compare it too MAC cosmetics and Estee Lauder , both owned by Estee Lauder but are not the same product. Keretase is more on the luxury end then LP

Hi Mike, i just bought a big bottle of bain satin 1 and noticed the content is transparent instead of white creamy pearlescent liquid. The bottle is 1000ml, made in spain. Did Kerastase changed the formula? Or did buy a fake product? Hope you can shine some light on this. Thank you in advance.🙏🏻

hey hey no it shouldn't be transparent, it is normally a creamy formula. where did you get the bottle, I know there is no official online retailer that would sell salon size shampoo. trying to shake it up, maybe it separated or something ?

@@MikeDeCanter i live in Singapore, i bought it from a small local retailer (Venus Beauty) that imports directly from Europe, instead from an authorised kerastase salon. i have purchased the 250ml from them before, no issue with that. But the 1000ml that i just bought from them is potentially fake which is so disappointing. i will shake it and see if it turns creamy, if not I'll go back to the retailer and demand a refund. Loreal Serie Expert is cheaper and really great. I got a mask amd shampoo- great sizes for 54.00 for the set.

You kind of have to spend money if you want repairing shampoos and conditioners. Stick with Pantene stuff if you can't afford. It's a decent cheap shampoo/conditioner but won't give the benefits of things like kerastase, sachajuan, davines etc.

I’m busy ordering the range as my hair is very thick, damaged, colored and we are expats in the Middle East so it’s all dry year round. I just saw that there is another mask called Nutritive Masquintense Exceptionally Concentrated Nourishing Treatment (For Dry & Extremely Sensitive. They had the mask for thin then thick. Should a I go with the exceptionally concentrated one? I’m taking the Bain 2 shampoo and the one for heat as well.

is it creme magistral mask you are referring too? i find masquintense thick rich enough. the magistral range is very very rich im not a fan of it. if your hair is very dry sensitized and thick bain satin 2 and masquintense thick would be perfect. maybe get elixir oil for extra hydration

I think magistral is good for the right hair but even bain satin 2 is very heavy is not used on the right hair. Did you get the full range. I think in 8 years working with Kerastase i used magistaral once hahah

@@mennanader6380 Use clarifying shampoo 1-2x in month...maybe your hair is full with left silikons so mask cant get through....Clean your hair with clarifying shampoo and try again with mask...also this mask is very strong you cant use with every wash.
