The original Keris weapon came from Indonesia, especially the Javanese tribe. Mention of the Keris weapon has been written in ancient books such as Pararaton, Negarakertagama, Sutasoma and others. In the golden era of the Maja Pahit kingdom, namely around the 14th to 15th centuries, they expanded from what is now known as Indonesia to the Ujung Medhini area (now known as the Malaysian peninsula), parts of the Philippines and parts of Thailand, they brought their culture too, one of which was the Keris. I read a story about a seller who proved to a prospective buyer that a certain keris could fly from city to city. The keris knew what city the prospective buyer intended to travel to, and at least two times it arrived in that city before the prospective buyer, and was there waiting and ready when he arrived. According to the story, the guy gladly handed over the mahar for the keris and then took it home with him, but the keris never flew again. I don't know if the story is true; I'm just telling you what I read.
