They didn´t... Verona had max televote points during all Eesti laul shows because Estonian people really love artist whom they know and love... Kerli was cool but that was it... just cool... there was no connection with estonian people because she just suddenly appeared out of nowhere and said that she wants to represent HER country... Maybe if she tries again next year she will succeed but again, there is no sign of her after Eesti Laul... she just comes and goes thus it's hard for the older generation to connect with her message and music because we take really seriously the message that the artists carry

@@drakonius95 Kerli is much more known than Laura and Koit. Have you ever heard her hit single Walking On Air? That was one of her first singles that broke through to other countries and even America. Look at her discography she's well known.
Of course I'm happy for Koit & Laura but tbh Kerli should've won and I feel like Kerli would of done much better at Eurovision that Verona will do but I love both songs 💖 I just hope Kerli will not give up her Eurovision dream and will return next year or maybe in the next few years 🙏🌙
I’m not into Kerli like that, however, I do have her first album. There was song that grabbed my attention. I’m surprised that I don’t hear more about her here in America. She’s just different. And I’ve always loved different artists that comes off a little strange if I may say.

Kerli should have won not Verona! But she could not because Kerli's SMS + PHONE line was mysteriously down for 10 minutes. That means she only got 5 minutes and everybody else full 15 minutes. #justiceforkerli
Writing from the Philippines here. I have been a fan of Kerli for like a decade already. I often thought "what if" she joins Eurovision for Estonia. I did not know she actually tried this year. Just found out about it tonight, five months after ESC in Kiev. I do like "Verona," but if this was selected as the Estonian entry, I wouldn't have minded at all. This is a very good song and performance, too.
I wish this song would have won. I don't think the winner was bad, it's a great song by any means. I just want to watch the ending competitions that have singers doing their own thing instead of putting a song out there that sounds like so many other I've heard before, extreme beauty that I've already seen before in many actresses and singers. To me it's dull. Kerli has the same message and the same beauty channeled in a very artistic and different manner.

I like this song so much, but when I see the Estonian results in Eurovision over the past years, I'm not so sure that Kerli would have slayed with this song. I mean, Estonia needs really great songs if they want to do well in the Contest. Also, I think that Diamond Hard, Feral Hearts or Blossom had something more powerful, more mystical maybe. I remember that when people listened to Spirit Animal for the first time, I wasn't so magical. Then, the song grows on you and you like it, especially with a performance full of energy like this! That being said, I hope she'll come back with a magic song in 2018! #GOKerli
I think her album had a lot of meaning related to her country and they missed a chance to promote the culture by opting for verona which was a very pop/commercial song that we have to admit, had very good vocals but I feel like eurovision celebrates the feeling behind this song. at least from my own humble outside perspective! O:
I said it before and I'll say it again. Yes I too am sad that Verona did not get Estonia into the final but I am 100% certain that if Estonia had of gone for Kerli, she would of gotten Estonia into the final because this performance here had more winner potential and I still can't believe that Estonia still went for Verona but oh well it happened, Eurovision is over now for another year. We just now have to hope that Kerli will return with an even stronger song and that next time, she will be chosen 💖

I understand everyone in this comments and around world love Kerli. She is very popular she is beautiful and haves good voice! But when you gonna hate on Verona... some people love verona so much as spirit animal. Some people think spirit animal is annoying and dosen't deserve I am sure! (Also idc any of these songs Verona or Spirit animal. They both are good. I am an estonian tho. #NoHate)
