It's not like Mickey is able to defend his own character (as he isn't real) and Disney doesn't seem particularly invested in doing that either. @BirthbyNightmare i was about to ask about that too. So my eyes aren't deceiving me, that IS the Suicide Squad Kills The Justice League model for Superman. Hot-Dog Devil Artemis did more justice to Superman(no pun intended) than Rocksteady did with that. That's amazing and sad.

Comic characters will always have ridiculous advantages against anime characters in what-if battles. They have decades of (extremely situational btw) feats from different continuities that powerscalers can and do compile all into a single version of a character. While anime characters typically only have their single storyline. And average version of Goku (I dunno, lets say post Freiza, pre Android) could wreck an average version of Superman (like from most animated series) easily.

@@adaphion To be fair, in that last Death Battle (#3) they literally said Goku stomps most versions of Superman. It's only the main continuity Superman that beats him. All the spin off and what if versions lose to Goku.

@@djaxeman2424 True, but even the DCAU and Arkham versions of the Batman show him being overly harsh at times - not just blunt and to the point. Again, I like him like that. And it works for him amongst his "peers". Batman is able to impress and intimidate people FAR beyond his power level than he would be able to if he acted like Superman -- and with Batman it is probably calculated. Superman is this overly polite being because he has the luxury to do so -- his power level is insane -- and it fits his character. The Batman does not always have that luxury. Not to mention Superman is terrifying when he gets angry. He is well aware of that so when he cuts loose; it has to be against someone who can hang with him. Now Frank Miller's Batman - post "The Dark Knight Returns and Batman: Year One" -- is an interesting take of the Batman. And I will agree with you that he just comes off as a horrid asshole (not just a bit of a dick) who would be better as a "Sin City" character.

You bring up a good point. Kermit isn't known for being particularly honest or trustworthy in the DAU so what he was telling Cell could be anything from an exaggeration to an outright lie. Too bad we'll never really know.

@@yoannbelleville7763 It's possible that he was telling the truth but the fact is that it wouldn't be out of character for Kermit to lie to Cell. He does it all the time (admittedly mostly lies of omission rather than direct lies) and he even manipulated Cell into fighting Superman for his own benefit in this very video. You are correct that the ring is a dangerous weapon and that Kermit is the exact wrong type of person to have it so it ultimately doesn't matter if he got it legit or not. It's just that the possibility he didn't is still valid.

What part of "faster than a speeding bullet" did you not understand

The Green Lantern corp is known as a 'good' corp but they just represent those with strong willpower. They are only good because the corp has a lot of self-policing and rules set up to encourage guardianship rather than selfishness. Individual rings can still make poor decisions about who to empower since morality and responsibility are not the criteria they use to judge who would make a good Green Lantern. As the voice said, Kermit has the ability to resist great fear which makes him a viable candidate but that does not mean he'd make a responsible guardian of the planet which is why Superman intervened to take the ring from him.

In fairness, this is DAU Superman. We don’t know what bullahit he’s on.
