I'm confused at no. 2 for kernel of T.. I see that rref has a row of [1 0 2]..then why is it x1= -x3?..

Did he do the RREF correctly? I think it should be [1,0,0; 0,1,0; 0,0,1; 0,0,0]. I checked with Matlab too

Thank you Seung. The third row of the original matrix A should be [ -1 -2 -8 ] not [-2 -2 -8 ] for the first entry by mistake I copied -2 instead of -1. That way the rref is correct. And the first vector of the colspace is instead of . Thanks again.
