Yes Kerry had a terrible upbringing with a terrible mother, and then went on to make mistakes herself. Which no doubt was a reason why SHE wasn’t a great mother herself. As in taking hard drugs around her children/behaving appallingly around her children/marrying druggies etc etc.. Kerry will tell you she’s a great mother, but if you believe that then more fool you.

I’ve met Kerry (20 years ago) and she seemed like a girl who was very vulnerable under the surface, but hid it well with her beauty and big personality. I decided to read her autobiography not long after that and it was honestly one of the most moving, heartbreaking books I’ve ever read.

This is probably one of the best podcasts I've watched & listened to, Kerry is raw to the core and as real as they come, say what you want about her she gets up and carries on every single time. This was an amazing interview. Firstly Abbey was perfectly non judgemental and the interaction between the two was great. I had no idea of Kerry's background, it's no wonder she turned to drugs she has been through so much. I'm glad to see she has come out the other side and is doing so well. From where she’s come, she’s done good. Anyone from Kerry’s background, there’s bound to blips when you don’t have support. But she’s turned it around. No one is perfect. No one’s life is perfect. It’s how we recover that shows who we really are.
